RE: Help.venezuela is increasing its support to users from Venezuela

Dear @help.venezuela

Probably you have heard about PAL. It is a kind of second lyer chain above the steem blockchain. PAL allows you to earn double from your posts. When you post something you get Steem as usual but you can also Palcoins. The only thing you have to do is to put the tag palnet on all your posts!

I'm failing to understand how is this business model sustainable?

So far I can only see where PAL supply (Creating selling pressure) would be coming from. But who would like to buy it? Where demand would be coming from?

Without demand, soon PAL will be worthless.

Hi @crypto.piotr,
Thanks a lot for your comment. I've taken the time to read through the Palcoin Whitepaper and there are several sinks for the token. Among them, most importantly is that you can use your tokens to get an upvote from @minnowsupport (in steem or sbd). You can also use the tokens to promote a post on palnet.io.

What is also interesting is that you can actually stake the Palcoins like steem and increase your vote value in terms of palcoins. For people who are small fishes with steem, this could be an interesting alternative .

I believe that there will be a price building situation where the value of Palcoin will correspond to the value of the according upvote by @minnowsupport in steem.

Best regards,

Achim

P.S: I just realised that you didn't own any palcoins? Did you get the airdrop on steem-engine? Just go to steem-engine and login with your steemit account. Then refresh the page a couple of times and you should see a logo of placoin on the left top of your screen.

Steem Engine Airdrop Palcoin.png

click on it and claim the airdrop. Free money is always good to have ;-)

Well, according to @meno

It seems like splitting PALPOWER with STEEMPOWER not only makes sense for curating more accurately, but it also adds a layer of security to it all. In other words, it seems to be a win/win scenario.

And it works like HF21, 50%/50% (curation/author).

The good thing is that you win STEEM/SBD and PAL. Not bad, right?

They have to know what they doing, I mean palnet people. From the beggining, they've always helped minnows.

Keep in touch!
