I am willing to delegate almost all of my remaining SP for a month, to help "plankton accounts" join @steem-ua

Hello everyone!

I will get straight into the point. @steem-ua is here, it's live, and I cannot think of a better opportunity / alternative for all those newcomers that join Steemit than this. Now in case you guys still don't know or heard about @steem-ua then you are clearly doing something wrong, but in any case this is their introduction post where you can read what @steem-ua is all about. And here is their latest post, so take a few minutes and read those articles to be well informed and not to have any unanswered questions.

I know how hard it is to draw attention to your blog. You see, we have all been there, and those who have now strengthen their accounts and forgot how it feels like to be a newcomer, well...too bad for them. I am reading a lot of posts lately like this one written by @hitmeasap and you get that feeling of...unity again.

And that is exactly what I want to do too. To help as much as I can. So at the moment, the only way for someone to receive a @steem-ua vote is either by making @utopian-io contributions, or by delegating to them one of the following amounts of SP:

Delegating 25 SP ----> You are eligible for one upvote per week
Delegating 50 SP ----> You are eligible for two upvotes per week
Delegating 100 SP --> You are eligible for four upvotes per week
Delegating 250 SP --> You are eligible for seven upvotes per week

There is also the 5000+ SP delegation but lets keep our heads down shall we??

And since I believe in this project very much, and the amount of effort has been put by @scipio and @holger80 , the developers is tremendous, therefore I want it to succeed. It could be exactly what was missing in order to push steem's price also in new highs. You think I am overreacting? Well think it that way: It encourages people to power up first and foremost and as we all know ( I guess we do) if there is demand for steem but not liquidity then price climbs. But this is a whole different conversation....

So to the point. I have more or less 1000 SP and I am willing to help those small accounts grow a little by delegating "25 and 50 SP amounts only." Obviously I'll keep 100 / 200 SP so that I won't have bandwidth issues myself, meaning the rest 800 SP can be delegated. So the only way to receive that delegation from me is, to have less than 100 SP yourself otherwise you don't really need my help.

Now I will delegate directly, only to those who are interested joining @steem-ua and for no other purposes. After I delegate them one of the amounts mentioned above, they'll have 24 hours to delegate themselves to @steem-ua and also keep the delegation received from me "for 4 weeks." Delegations sent will be drawn back immediately if you haven't delegate the amount received from me to @steem-ua in the next 24 hours (just to be clear).

Your blog could be about anything as @steem-ua supports almost every tag. No need to mention here, that is has to be original content and not plagiarized...right??? Right.

So those of you who are interested feel free to comment on the comment section below. If you know someone who is in need and would be interested in joining @steem-ua also mention him. You can comment until this post pays out which is the point were all delegations will be sent.

I really hope that this initiative could trigger some high stacked holders to do the same. Let's turn some plankton into minnows!

PS. A resteem of this post would be highly appreciated as the purpose of this post is to help as many "plankton" accounts as possible.

Until next time...
Stay awesome!

We need a delegation UI in steemit.com

remember that you might have to chase up on some people after delegating as they may not get the notifications through Gina etc. After a few days, I found that about 6 weren't delegating so I chased them a bit. Also, some newbies aren't the greatest with the tech.

I added the steemconnect delegation links which seemed to help.

Good work mate :)

Yeah I figured that out already...Some can't even help it and delegate to UA straight away and coming back asking that 25 / 50 SP.

At times it is hilarious...Thanks for the tip @tarazkp might have to add those links too actually. And thanks for the kind words also!

Great initiative! :-)

Thanks so much @daveks
You set an example too by showing your faith to this project!

Why does the amount of votes people are eligable for grows smaller the bigger the delegation amount?
Wouldnt it be more interesting for people to delegate bigger amounts if it stays the same, for example:

Delegating 25 SP ----> You are eligible for one upvote per week
Delegating 50 SP ----> You are eligible for two upvotes per week
Delegating 100 SP --> You are eligible for four upvotes per week
Delegating 250 SP --> You are eligible for ten upvotes per week <-- (only changed this one).

Because @steem-ua can only vote once every day per account. So max is the seven votes.

Ok I see, thanks for clearing that up!

Good question @flyingdutchman - I also wondered why it was not 175 SP for 7 upvotes. @mindtrap?

He answered this above my comment, the bot is setup so it can only vote 1x per account a day.

@flyingdutchman yes I saw that but then why is is not commensurate to the numbers above - 7 votes equals 175 SP.

maybe that is hard to script into the bot, I can assume adding a line of text that means vote 1 per acc should be way easier than what you are saying. Not sure tho since i never scripted.

clarifying, not criticising...

so the offer is... if a wee fishie has the 25 to dele, then you will essentially replace/double their sp with your dele to them?

I mean, if you dele to them, they can't use it to re-dele to ua... so im just a tad confused. ... am i getting it right above?

Hello @sircork and thanks for asking. According to developers an account need approximately 3 / 5 SP on their account to be able to post without having bandwidth problems. Now if an account has let's say 30 SP and wants to join @steem-ua I will delegate him 25 SP and then he will delegate his 25 out of 30 SP to @steem-ua.

Same with an account that has...let's say 60SP. I will delegate him either 25 or 50 SP and he will follow the same procedure. Now an account with 30 SP can't claim 50 SP delegation as you understand. And I preferred this way, to motivate people to build their accounts in that 4 weeks period and continue being part of UA

Ok so yes, it's a "matching" program, cool. Man I really regret my username some days though ^

Lol sircork strikes again!!

LOL. I didn't see the error but I can just imagine.

Please join me in drinking to forget...

It could be worse. You could have called yourself sore cork.

jeezzle

We're not going there.... ;)

Oh man...so sorry....just fixed it!

lol, every.single.time :)

I guess it happens a lot huh?

more than I'd like - imagine being called mindcr... you know what, on second thought.... ;)

Great idea @mindtrap
Of course resteemed :-)

Thanks mate! I really appreciate it!

Well done mate. I delegated already 250 to @steem-ua .
Resteemed to increase visibility

Thank you @toofasteddie!
Let's spread the word and empower some tiny accounts!

Im one of those tiny accounts, but doing my best to start posting regularly :)

If you can power your account up and reach 30 SP by the time this post pays out, I will gladly help you!

This is a commendable move you made, thank you for the opportunity!! Always be strong and kind as you are now!!
