Sewu Kupat Parade, Tradition of Respect for Sunan Muria
The people of Kudus Regency, Central Java have a variety of cultural traditions to meluhurkan the work of Walisongo. One of them is by holding a parade of "Sewu Kupat". In the Indonesian language, Sewu means one thousand and kupat is none other than ketupat. This activity is local wisdom of local people to honor the Islamic religious figure who joined in Walisongo namely Sunan Muria. Celebration Sewu Kupat usually lasts a week after eid mubarak or 7 Shawwal.

The mountain was brought by Dawe District community from each village and prayed at the Tomb of Sunan Muria.
