Annecy is a lovely city in France. It is full of charm canals, just like the Venice city in Italy.

Although Annecy is not a very large city, there are many tourist attractions.

The first attractive place which is one of the popular spots for photography of the city is the Palais d’Isle. It’s a triangular old prison flanked by canals.

It used to be an ancient castle and became a prison and courthouse respectively. Today, it has been developed into a museum showcasing the history of Annecy and was declared a historical monument in 1900.

Another highlight that you must not miss is Lovers' Bridge (Pont des Amours), a small bridge connecting the two sides of the canal.

There are small boats moored in rows along the bank, along with large trees that curve towards each other to form a tunnel.

It's truly a relaxing and romantic date spot, just like the name "Lovers' Bridge."

There is no doubt why Annecy is one of the most popular tourist destinations in France.
