Some basics first

Me and my fellow traveler arrived in Auckland, New Zealand on the 22.08.17 after we finished german high school in the same year. We applied for the work and holiday visa which allows you to work and travel nz at the same time for at least 12 month. This is possible only once in a lifetime and you have to be under 30. (These are the conditions for german citizen)
The first step is to get a nz bank account.
We decided for Kiwi Bank and didnt regret it! Doing this leads to step two which means applying online for an IRD Tax number.
Once you got your IRD number you are basically ready for working!
