Great article, I actually agree the sense of discovery is a bit lost now but, i do think that technology allows us to maximize our travels specially since work has become a bit more time demanding.
Quite true.
Also, with more and more people finding it easy to afford means of travel, not all are sensible in what they are getting into. So the wealth of information is important I feel.
