Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:

A site that deserves and not for the grumblers! It is true that we visit only the library and not very close (but this is not the case in Coimbra and likewise we do not see a mass of tourists leafing through precious books in Dublin or Spain!) , that you have to pay for the photos (it's not uncommon elsewhere), but the 2 rooms and the hall (filled with precious documents) are beautiful, there is a soul. The climb to the monastery (on foot of course) is very nice, the belvedere under the monastery offers one of the most beautiful views of the city, the vineyard is close as the forest. and the nearby brewery offers beers and food of good quality. So, if we remember these good things, we're really good at Strahov!

I rewarded @rockmen entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

The visit of this mountain named Bořeň in northern Bohemia by the town of Bílina was really impressive. I went there in the spring when plenty of protected plants bloomed. Bořeň is the largest phonolite formation in Central Europe (539m) and looking out of its summit is like looking out of the plane.

Stojí za návštěvu. Budu muset udělat seriál o této hoře.

Wow! Víťaz dňa!! :)

Děkuji :)

Colorful sunrise over the Prague neighborhood of Malesice captured in summer a few years ago. Currently home to some 10,000 people, Malesice used to be an independent village but it became a part of the Czech capital in 1922.

Tourist Information Center in Prague - Very friendly, good guides, transportation, organization - everything is great! This is just a godsend for tourists. You can also buy the most common souvenirs from Prague in the information center. A large selection of magnets, pens, notebooks, T-shirts, mugs with the Prague theme. In the center there are several tables and tables where you can sit and relax. Also here you can get a map of Prague in any language with all the sights for free.

Church of St.Spitit, Old Town, Prague, back side

The church from the time of Charles IV. Especially after the Hussite wars, after the Thirty Years' War in the Baroque period and finally in the Classicist style in the 19th century.
Every time has left something on it. Only churches built in the 2nd half of the 19th century are stylishly clean - neo-Romanesque, neo-Gothic, neo-baroque ...

This is rainbow from last week. Place is Prague 4, Braník. The rainbow formed in a strong wind after a rain shower. If you look closely you can see that there is one more rainbow over it. Photo was shoot above 2pm on mobile phone.

Usti nad Labem is a university town. More than 12,000 students study at the University of Jan Evangelists Purkine. Including this year my daughter came here to the fashion design department. On steemit the nickname @molarity.

St. Vitus Cathedral
The exterior decoration is also beautiful, but the interior is also very beautiful, with many stained glass pieces. The front of the famous Mucha stained glass can be seen immediately because there are more people than others.

John Lennon Wall
It is not the wall itself that is important but the history behind it. There we are imbued with the freedom and independence that young people aspired to at that time against communism. It was an inner feeling of luck for those of us who have not lived on communist domination.

Baroque chateau Slavkov/Austerlitz was the witness of Napoleon Bonaparte triumph in the battle of three emperors in 1805. Also its owners - dukes (later also princes) of Kaunitz played important role in history, eg. Wenzel Anton von Kaunitz-Rietberg, chancellor of the Austrian emperor Marie Therese.
