Yesterday, I hosted my "Cup Match" at St. Paul's Veteran, and it was an absolute blast!
St. Paul's Veteran is one of the oldest veteran clubs in Bamenda, and we play every Sunday from 10:00 AM at St. Paul's bald, muddy stadium. Despite the field, the soccer games are always incredible.

First, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my friends and fellow members of St. Paul's Veteran for their massive turnout and incredible support. You truly made the day special!WhatsApp Image 2024-09-16 at 8.55.45 AM.jpegThe winning #GreenTeam

How did it go?
We started with a solid warm-up led by Coach Pepe. The exercises were intense—plenty of sweat and effort, and you can imagine the rest.
Then came the main event: a thrilling two-hour soccer match that ended 4-3, with some spectacular goals. I started up front wearing jersey number 9 but, unfortunately, didn't manage to score. Just like Yembe, our goal-scoring machine, who also missed out. Later, I moved to midfield and played a more defensive role to help secure the victory for my team.

This match was one of the most intense and challenging games I've played all year!
Afterward, the post-game celebration at our Clifton clubhouse was on another level. My people brought 23.5 crates of drinks to support the event—dang, you all really made the day!
I also provided quarter chicken with fried plantains, sauce, vegetables, and mayonnaise for all veteran members. Throughout the day, members came up to me, appreciating the quality and class of the food.

We also had an amazing artist who drew members of our veteran while we celebrated.

We ate, drank, sang, and danced late into the night. It was truly a fantastic day, and I finally retired home around 1 AM, completely exhausted but so happy.
