RE: Finally Home: Home Sweet Home

This particular excuse sounds ridiculous and... bogus, of course, the authorities can't put a sign "due to laziness and lack of motivation of our staff to do what they are paid for" :)
By the way, reissuing my passport and ID here is also always such the saga.
Waiting for at least 2-3 hours seems to be "normal" and it often gets chaotic with people yelling at each other.
Not to mention the prices got doubled (a bit more actually) this year.

Anyway, it is good when it all ends well, right :)

Sort:

I know it sounds ridiculous, rather a little embarrassing...

But yes there was a problem with consignments of paper and ink :(((

It's a really sad situation! And I am very unhappy about it. I love my country, it has too many good things, unfortunately, economy is not one of those...

I would love to see it prosper and flourish. It's my wishful thinking. Maybe one day...

I understand and relate to what you're saying. My country is in a similar situation with ridiculous things happening and people dying due to corruption and negligence. With the years behind my back I came to the conclusion a positive change only happens when the bigger part of the population wants that change. Those who get elected to rule the country have the same mindset and if not forced to make something, they just collect their salaries and try to do nothing.
Human nature, I guess.

To end this in a positive way, I really hope to see my country somewhere i n the middle of the list of the standard of life in EU, as it has been at the bottom of that list for at least a decade now... :)

Have a great day!
