RE: Travelling with my 80 year old Grandma. Stories from a survivor

in #teamaustralia7 years ago (edited)

I think spending time with people who have lived through a different period in time really helps you learn about the attitudes and perceptions that people can have, but considering that some things were quite different (e.g. having to live through war) it is not surprising why they can have such different views. However, there are also many things that people of different generations share as well. Since I don't have any grandparents to spend time with anymore, it is something worthwhile cherishing, even if it means just having to get a pair of earplugs (good ones are VERY useful) and smile at the comments that reflect a different time so that you can hopefully have less awkward conversations with your grandchildren :)

Seems like you are doing quite well on Steemit and getting good views and payouts on your post so I am not going to hassle you too much, but if you need help with anything just let me know :)
