Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 3/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this season, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to looking for shorts. Yes shorts, specifically the ones I use for when going on trips, for some reason I couldn't find them anywhere. Eventually after already turning the room upside down I remembered what happened and where I ended up placing them. It's a relief knowing I don't have to go and do any shopping but by the time I found the things it was too late to sort through them and pack. So I wanted to do better with sleep to recover from those crazy shifts, as I started to feel a little unwell "not the flu kind of way" but feeling run down which I think came a lot from the stress of work due to that new network system being installed recently. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, I was surprised as the previous night was a real pain plus since I was stressed trying to find all the missing clothing for my trip I thought it may of caused me problems to sleep. Thankfully I think I was too relieved to have found them that it made it easy to sleep. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this is great as yesterday was the same and it's what I needed. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this was because it would help me to try and get my sleeping routine back on track. I rested for a while past the alarm which I'm glad about "if it makes me feel better" it wasn't for that long when compared to yesterday. As for the weather this morning it was mostly cloudy and relatively dark, the sun was out there somewhere.. there was the possibility of rain in the distance but honestly it's not rained that much lately. Usually it will clear-up by the afternoon but lately it only gets partially clear, still even with that it's been providing us with some good summer heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, which might be surprising with all this cloud and by the looks of things possible rainfall. The late start to the day was not much of a problem as I only have work later in the day. This is good as it will give me time to get some chores done, however I also wanted to look for some information on what possible memory stick I could purchase. I have the money for it now and would like to update it from the glitchy one I have currently that is holding all the retros. Since it's glitchy and as already often done wipes on certain files it will be a big relief to purchase one that actually works as it should. Another thing I wanted to get more of done is the clothing, the packing for my trip after finally finding that missing bag late last night. See with friends who are still on holiday and the others preparing to fly away again I have lots to get done and "like my friends" I want to start preparing a few things for when I go to visit my father. The reason for doing some of this now is to not panic later about having so much to do with little time. Not only that but if my friends return at some point before I go they will demand to meet, so if I get these things done now I might have the time to see them before I leave for my own trip. Still that horrible new system from work haunts me, I'm hoping today I can get it down, like most days now I have been wanting to start work a little earlier, this was for in-case I have more issues with it. See the system we used was replaced 5 days ago, and from the get-go it's replacement as caused me problems. The stupid thing at one point was even having a mind of it's own, literally it was just doing it's own thing, but obviously getting nowhere not doing anything that's actually useful. My colleagues had to come to my rescue a few times as nothing was working for me and I was honestly feeling useless because theirs were working a lot better than mine. Theirs were at a point were it almost seemed like they were lying about it having any issues on their end. And while my colleagues helped get the work processed none of them were helping me to fix the issues, even my boss was there at one point and he didn't help, instead he just looked annoyed and disappointed. I was getting very angry about the lack of support from those around me. Thankfully one of my colleagues finally stopped and helped me to try and understand the problem, by working together we managed to get it running again "eventually". I feel like in the end this system isn't exactly a improvement over the old one, it's just "new" so it's like putting a new name of something that's been around for ages and claiming your version is better. And I'm sick and tired of hearing "there's a trick to it" because honestly every single little thing with this new dam system requires a "little trick"! Shouldn't the dam thing work without having to know 10 different tricks to it!! When my free time was up I had a quick small breakfast, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work there was a big improvement in weather, sure it was slightly more clear but just barely, however the sun hidden mostly was causing a lot of heat, to the point I know I'm going to baking by the time I get to work. Arriving to work like usual now I started a little early to battle the new stupid system, well apart from the very beginning I was happy to experience on this shift that it was almost fully working as it should be. My boss was in the area and he said he wanted me to do a few things for him specifically on this shift. The first job would be very easy and while the 2nd task wasn't that difficult either it's not something I really wanted to do as it involves moving things from the floor I work on to the one below. This I guess is the continued slow process to closing down this floor which will make me extremely sad, however I'm being told that the spaced cleared will still be in use for other things which I really hope will be the case. Yesterday while looking over the weekly tasks before they had them updated I already started with a few things myself that I felt needed to be worked on at that moment. Well I was lucky enough that when the tasks were updated one of them I had already been working on and had mostly completed. And so while that task was actually assigned to someone else "I stole it" and put myself down for it and completed it. My colleague is likely going to be very pleased that he won't have to bother with doing that particular task as it can be a little long if your doing it properly. And today was similar as my boss talked about the first thing he wanted me to get done "I was already smiling" because it was a easy thing to get done that was already placed on the task sheet. And so by doing that task "as instructed by my boss" I could essentially steal another job, assign my name to it and so taking the burden off another colleague for the week. The rest of the shift was mostly easy, I didn't bother getting started with any other tasks as I think enough was already done for one day plus there wouldn't be enough time. I was glad when it was time to leave not because of work but because I wanted to go shopping for my new retro memory stick holder. With doing the research this morning I was able to easily find and purchase what I needed and it looks good. On the way home the weather was very comfortable so I took my time to enjoy the sundown and the fresh air. At home it was too late to start with getting chores done but instead I went for my quick work-out. Still need to see if I can start organising my bag especially clothing, my main task now with that is to get them washed first. Lastly I started to prepared dinner checked for any news from my father "he said he would message me but still nothing" I also checked-in with my friends holidaying, apparently one as hurt their back this is likely due to some garden work they had done as a favour, after I went to settled in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". The changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
