Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 1/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this season which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to trying to catch-up with a few things after having been up so early in the morning for work these past few days. However I still wanted to do better to recover from those crazy shifts, but somehow I ended up going to sleep slightly later than yesterday. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, thank goodness as I thought perhaps being over tired it would cause issue. I'm not sure why the difficulty to sleep but it does seem to happen often when I have very early morning shifts. Once sleeping I woke-up over 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, this was because I was feeling thirsty which makes me think it must of got hot during the night again. I was disappointed as I needed that rest, the alarm was set for the usual time. This wasn't because I actually wanted to get up for that time, it's because I had to.. for work, this would help to try and get my sleeping routine back on track. As for the weather this morning it was relatively dark and cloudy, but the sun was trying to get past those clouds. But if it's going to be anything like yesterday which it should be, it will clear-up by the afternoon and the sun will come out to provide us with some summer type heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, which was surprising after yesterday it still being hot. Anyway because I had work to be in for very soon there wasn't any time for getting anything done in the morning. When my free time was up I skipped breakfast as I would get something later in work, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work there was already a big improvement in weather, well it was still very cloudy but the temperature coming from the sun that was amazingly still mostly hidden was soaring up quickly. This did actually take me by surprise and so from there I expected it to start getting hot sooner than later. Arriving to work like most days now I wanted to start a little earlier, this was for in-case I had more issues with this dammed new system. And my gosh did I have issues with it yesterday! This was to the point I was nervous about going into work. See the system we used was replaced 3 days ago which from almost the get go it as caused me problems. The stupid thing at one point was having a mind of it's own, literally it was just doing it's own thing, but obviously getting nowhere with anything constructive. Twice yesterday my colleagues had to come to my rescue as nothing was working for me and I was honestly feeling useless because theirs were working a lot better than mine. Theirs were to a point were it looked like they were almost lying about it actually having any issues at all. And while my colleagues helped get the work processed none of them were helping me to fix the issues, even my boss was there at one point and he didn't help, instead he just looked annoyed and disappointed. I was getting very angry with this new system, mine in particular was being incredibly difficult to work with, and I was angry about the lack of support from those around me. Thankfully one of my colleagues finally stopped and helped me to try and understand the problem, by working together we managed to get in running eventually. But I think by that time my boss was already annoyed but honestly that's their own fault for their own lack of support!! I feel like in the end this system isn't exactly a improvement over the old one, it's just "new" it's like putting a new name of something that's been around for ages and claiming your version is better, if that makes any sense.. But for this shift today it was only initially that I had any problems with it, which previously as been the opposite. One of my colleagues helped me figure out the problem and I'm honestly sick and tired of hearing "there's a trick to it" because honestly every single little thing with this new dam system requires a "little trick"! Shouldn't the dam thing work without having to know 10 different tricks to it!!? Anyway since that initial problem getting started with it at least for the rest of the day the thing worked just fine, I say fine but there were still small hiccups, however these were nothing compared to the problems I was facing yesterday. This time I had a much better shift, not only was the system working for me much better but there wasn't any extra work to get done. Looking over the weekly tasks they had not been updated yet for this week, well that was until much later in the day. However I already started with somethings that I felt needed to be done and I was lucky enough that when the tasks were updated I already had one of them mostly completed. While that task was actually assigned to someone else I stole it and put myself down for it, and so already completing it lol. My colleague is likely going to be very pleased that he won't have to bother with doing that particular task as it can be a little long if your doing it properly. I was glad when it was time to leave mostly because of the heat and the time dragging so slowly. On the way home sure there was a little more sunshine but it was still partly cloudy but it was indeed very hot. When I got home I got started with chores, I had a little more time for these as I had spoken to my friend earlier who told me nobody would be online tonight and so I won't bother. After a few chores I managed to get a small workout done which I have been wanting to return to for the past few days. When I completed the small workout I went for a shower, lastly I started to prepared dinner checked for any news from my father which he phoned me and then I settled in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
