so why the fuck would i let my coins get locked into steemit for two years!!??.. fuck this.. fuck shit hole.. fuck all the greedy whales on here too who just wanna take advantage of the little fish..

just venting.. flag me if you want losers.. free speech right or is it??? or only if you have enough steem power ;d LOL fuckin fail

Sort:

people flag crappy content they dont want to see on steemit

A long-time bond is not a scam and exists in the real world too. Long-time savings accounts are a pretty standard offering anywhere.

You have a choice: If you believe in the platform, keep the Steempower. If you need liquidity or are a continuous trader/speculator, use Steem. If you want something stable long-term with slight interest, keep the Steem Dollars. If none of these applies, convert into any other crypto-currency you like or (god beware!) cash out to fiat at last.

i do believe in the platform..the idea is cool but i feel theres so many things that need to be changed before i even consider investing... my only problem is people getting paid to flag.. flag system should be changed.. like maybe warning first flag.. if a user gets 3 or more flags then they get a penalty or rewards taken..instead currently all it takes is one pissed off emo whale to fuck up someones day by flagging them.. its lame! and if you think thats fair your probably a bagholding emo whale lulz.. if anything if you want to flag someones post you should have to pay steempower.. having steem power gives you the power to silence someone.. thats too much power people..to much power and then theres abuse.. hope you realize this.. also curators should have some type of powers .. authors shouldnt be able to flag a curator. if anything if a curator decides to no longer support your post there should be some kind of cause and effect .. if a person is the first person to write on the post they should be rewarded! none of this bull shit pick and choose curator bull shit the whales are only letting thier whale friends eat! i develop video games and i know broken shit when i see it.. lol this site has and will have many users abusing it at its current state because they dont have a fair system in place yet..and all the flaws.. i get it its still in beta cool.. but im not investing shit untill i see real improvements in this system.

or since we only get 4 post a day why not only limit the flags to 4 flags a day ;d we got idiots on here with so much steem power they are flagging the lowbies and making them disapear literally on steem.. stupid vengeful emo whales with nothing better to do.

limit the flagging can stop people from flagging someones whole blog.. and might stop some of the abuse.. but what ever i dont run this shit hole.. just my two satoshi

whats the point of having a curator? isnt it the point of the curator to be the first one to and maintain the post and support the post and the author??? or am i missing something.. which is why they are rewarded in the fucking first place? so if the author can just flag the curator .. what use is the curator really? lol so how is it the author can flag the curator for simply supporting and maintaining the posts.. what a load of horse shit.. if thats the case the curator isnt even needed for the post to go live in the first place.. it would be different wouldnt it if the author actually needed to acquire X amount of curators for the post to even go live... in some kind of mutual benefit how it was meant to be but hopefully people can see the flaw in the way things are currently on steemit... what ever im done ranting fuck off.

Crazy yo, I am new to this so i was not aware people were investing there crypto onto this site. I just figured everyone only was using free steem and got there whale status by making posts. sounds brutal tho. Don't let the flaggers get you down. they are not worth wasting the energy on in my opinion! sry about the locked muneys, sounds crappy!

welcome to steemit.. where users have to pay for freedom of speech... errm i mean steem power ;d LOL

Please read the Steem white paper.

SP is a long term investment and should be regarded as such. This ensures that users want to grow the cryptocurrency and vote on what achieves that so the value of their SP is maximized during their 2 year stay (yes, you can get all of your SP back within 2 years if you do it right).

If you don't want that, you have the option of not doing that and just converting Steem to BTC instead.

It's your choice. There's no greed here, just how the cryptocurrency works.

EDIT: 1 year => 2 years

this ensures users dont dump your shit token to 0 satoshi.. i get it.. no need to explain to me your anti dump mechanisms i know crypto and how it works..

dont let my level 9 rank fool you

Sounds like you want to make money from this rather than find something better to reward content creators than the currently accepted scheme (patreon or what not).

lulz if i wanted to make money i can go trade on the markets.. i am here to support what i thought was a good block chain based social media platform.. turns out its just ran by a bunch of abusive power hungry whales lol pre mined losers who flag people for no reason! lol im not here to make money i already have money ;] i see your heavly invested

wow cool you read the white paper! big fucking wow! you still havent invested jack shit.. looking at your wallet now.. you just have the free steem power they gave you wow!.. here do yourself a big favor and dont waste your BTC here.. lmfao you wont see shit for two years.. oh wait. you already read the white paper LuLZ!!!

I've read the paper; I know how it works; it sounds like a good idea and eventually the whales will have no chance against the swarms of users coming in.

hey at least you have computer access, the internet, probably a home and some friends (even though you're an angry sort). You're a lucky duck, count your blessings.
You don't have to convert your steem to steempower, but if you want to have lots of voting power on the site then you need to make a commitment, most people find that reasonable. :)

angry hardly... if i was angry i would def do something about it ;] afterall.. we are resonable people ;]
