Tulsi (Holy Basil) :- The scientific name of tulsi is Ocimum Tenuiflorum it is cultivate for Ayurvedic medicine purposes and also for its essential oil, in ayurvedic it is commonly used as a herbal tea. The tulsi cultivation mainly two types (a) Green-Leaves (b) Purple-Leaves. India and Nepal widely range of cultivation green leaves tulsi and purple leaves tulsi plant, green leaves plant also named as Lakshmi Tulsi plant and purple leaves plant known as Krishna Tulsi plant.

Tulsi in Hinduism :- Tulsi leaves is an essential part in the worship of deities in hindu family, for hindu tulsi plant is workshipped as the avatar of Lakshmi. Hinduism family believes that mixing of water with the petals is given on dying raises their departing soul to heaven. Sanskrit says about the two types of tulsi worshipped in hinduism green leaves for Rama and the purple leaves for Krishna
