Potala Palace is a famous castle-shaped castle located on the top of Mount Hongshan in Lhasa, in Chinese Tibet. The palace dates back more than 1,300 years and was founded in the 7th century. The Potala Palace rises more than 3,700 meters above sea level, with an area of more than 3,700 square meters, east to west 360 meters long and south to north 270 meters. Potala Palace remained the headquarters of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to India, After the Chinese invasion in 1959. It crosses from the highest and most luxurious collection of buildings in the world, combining palaces, castles and temples
