If anyone is quitting the Blogging World, it is most times because of low traffic since it is very hard (not impossible) to monetize a blog without lots of traffic with some kind of CPC program like AdSense.

Today, I will be explaining to you how to skyrocket your blog traffic in 2017 this based on my personal experience.

Skyrocket Traffic
Each time I enter a community of bloggers, be it on Google+, Facebook, etc apart from the fact that most bloggers spam those communities, one of the commonly asked question is “How to get traffic or increase it?” but the thing I do think about is “How have you tried to keep track of those ones you’ve been getting earlier?”

Basically, this article is just to guide you on how to keep your users, your users and can make them come anytime which will lead to skyrocketing the blog traffic. Below, I will enumerate some methods that can get you back your users, I mean can convert visitors to returning users.

Now let’s assume I have a site with 200Page views and I’m interested in increasing it.

  1. Push Notifications

A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; users don’t have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them. Thanks to all the major browsers like Chrome, Firefox, etc, you can now send notifications easily to your subscribed users.

 (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Imagine if you can get half of your daily visitors, say 200 to subscribe for this push notification, they’ll surely come back whenever you have a hot post for them, and the only thing you need to focus on is getting more users to subscribe then you don’t really have to SPAM communities with your link but rather just your subscribers.

  1. Email Subscription

This is also more of less like one above but in this case, the message appears in the subscriber’s email and depending on the service provider/configuration you can end up in either Inbox, Promotions, Updates, or SPAM. But the best thing to remember while trying to use this method is to always include an unsubscribe link in the footer, make sure the From address matches the URL which is placed inside the mail.

Imagine you getting about 30% of your daily 200 PV, together with step one, you’re already on the quest of skyrocketing the traffic. All you have to do is send notifications to them, and there will be turn up.

Remember in order not to get Blacklisted by your subscribers, limit the number of notifications you send daily. You can make it twice a week.

  1. Social Media Subscription

Do not underestimate the power of social media as they can really get you a long way. Someone once said, and I quote:

Don’t just build your Facebook Page alone, build your Instagram, Twitter, Google+ communities else you might regret soon.
