New to Steemit and I like it :]

Hey Steemians! I am new to Steemit and I have to say that I am already sold on the idea and I find myself checking on this platform more frequently than I initially thought I would.
I am already discovering very interesting articles and I want to give a shout out to my friend Mischa for introducing this site to me. (IDK whats taking him so long to make an account lol)
About two weeks ago I put up a video on DTube but got no love just like any other newbie but I am in this for the long haul and with persistence and dedication comes true success which I believe is the epitome of Steemit and Dtube in general. The more we continue to upload, post, comment, like and follow people in the Steemit community the more successful this platform will be :]
I will keep this as a short post although I do want to shout out a few people that I have been following..
@michaeldavid - Wanted to shed light on his great posts regarding daily inspiration keep up the good work m8
@stackin - great work on teaching steemians some tips for us to be successful on this platform and how genuine he is in shoutouts
@heimindanger - I know he's new to this just like we are but he has a good sense of how this stuff works go check out his channel
All the best to you guys and have fun on this platform, at least that's what I'm going to be doing regardless.

Thanks for the mention man! You will be addicted to steemit soon, promise lol.

This platform is great! There is a lot to understand and it can be a bit daunting at first but once you know a few tricks you will be swimming with the big fish!

and you are welcome, I was hoping you'd be able to see the shout out lol
As for now I guess I am in the daunting phase as I get intimidated to post a video when so many people like yourself already have a presence. But like I've said in this post I am in it for the long haul, it is fine if I get no love on the first few posts as I am sure everyone had this same experience. My goal is to learn those tricks and the only way of getting there is to be persistent in my activity on this platform :]

yea steemit needs a better way to find mentions, they get lost a lot. I usually wont see them unless i'm told about it. lol

It can take some time to get established here. I have personally put so much into steemit I can't begin to tell you. If you do put it in, it will come back out though.

If you need anything let me know, I have learned a few tricks and things on here can confuse us at first cause it's all spread out.
