How to get traction on steemit

in #steemit7 years ago

It doesn't matter what I write or value I provide because there are practically no views on any of my posts. I understand on a big platform like steemit it's possible for this to happen.

However, I see low-quality posts like a random pictures or posts with just link to videos or other articles are upvoted. Now I understand, you need to form a network to get noticed and upvote other shit posts, this invariably leads to creating shit posts and shit culture where at the end you have nothing that provides any value to anyone.

Steemit will eventually need a better algorithm on posts gets most visibility or at least have a better navigation to reach far-off posts. Reddit is a perfect example of this with possible subreddit for everything. Within the first month of using Reddit people will understand how to search for their niche, unfortunately, steemit doesn't have that.
