What Makes the TaaS ICO Different from All the Rest? TaaS is Re-defining Investment Funds - PART 1

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

ICO’s have been rampant of recent, and there is no sign of the trend slowing down anytime soon. What we are seeing is many industry ‘First’s’ in the space as people are only beginning to grasp the power of Blockchain Technology and what it can truly do.

The birth of Smart Contracts has opened up a limitless amount of possibilities with many business use cases, use cases that were not possible before Blockchain Technology existed.

One Project that is truly testing the power of the Blockchain and Smart Contract Technology is TaaS, otherwise known as ‘Token as a Service’. A strange name you might be thinking but that is exactly what TaaS is, a Token that services its owners, ‘Token-as-a-Service’.

I have been following projects and ICO’s for a couple of years now and up until now, I have not seen many projects use Blockchain Technology as a truly beneficial way that can bring a real-world use case to life in a way that TaaS is attempting to do.

One project that I have seen make ground-breaking use of this technology is the Edgeless Project where they are attempting to disrupt the online gambling industry by offering a platform for gamblers using the transparency of the Ethereum Blockchain and the use of smart contracts to develop a provably fair and transparent online casino, in effect a casino with zero house edge, quite a big deal when you consider most online gambling sites have between 5-15% House Edge.

In the same way, TaaS is attempting to disrupt the Investment Fund space with similar attributes and a system that greatly rewards Investors / Token Holders.

TaaS is a Tokenised closed-end fund designed to reduce risks and financial barriers of investing in the blockchain space. The investment fund of TaaS will be invested solely in the crypto space which is one of the highest capital return markets there has ever been pretty much in Human History. Many projects experience exponential growth, but the space is not without its pitfalls. Knowing where to invest funds and how to go about it are key in investing in this new and growing space.

TaaS are developing, in my opinion, potentially one of the greatest wealth generators for its investors in the crypto space to date. A little tricky for me to get my head around at first, but this was due to the fact that the concept is SO simple compared to other such investment funds on offer out there. Being based on a Blockchain helps make the entire system simple and to a degree, frictionless.

The reason how it is so simple? Because of Blockchain Technology and the use of smart contracts, or programmable language used to distribute funds with one hundred percent transparency and all the while being provably fair.

Let me try to explain in the simplest way I can muster;

Basically, Taas is an Investment Fund. The Funds that will be raised in the ICO will be the complete investment fund. This Investment fund will have tokens issued against it representing the entire fund, distributed equally between the Investors, in line with the percentage each investor contributed which will be distributed 100% to the investors, and not one token will be issued to the TaaS Team.

So, at this point you must be wondering what the benefit and incentive is for the TAAS Team? Well, here is the genius part.

The TaaS Team will only receive a percentage of the profits that the Investment fund generates, and not a penny from the fund itself. As time goes on, 25% of all profits will be re-invested into the fund, continually building the size of the fund over time. This is hard coded with Smart Contracts as is the 50% of all profits being evenly distributed autonomously to all TaaS token holders.

The TaaS team have a very strong incentive to do their utmost best to grow the Investment fund as much as they possibly can. It’s a win-win for the Taas Team and the Token Holders.

As the name suggests, the TaaS token really is giving the investor a service, dividends in an ever-growing fund that pays out dividends every quarter which should, in theory only become bigger and bigger, not only benefiting the token holder in the sense that they will be receiving a nice dividend, but also increasing the value of the TaaS token as well.

The Investment Fund will be managed by some of the most qualified individuals in the field, including Andrew Debtski who is the Managing Director and has been in the crypto scene for the last 7 years who gives talks to the United Nations (UN) on Blockchain technology and was the CEO of the World Stock exchange for a good amount of time.

Also, worth noting is some of the TaaS Team’s Partners, one of which is Sergey Rebanko who is s a Legal Consultant of IFC which is part of the World Bank Group and John Wong who is Vice President of Business Development whose track record of working for one of the world’s major banks should help put TaaS in good stead.

Now if this does not further add to the legitimacy of the TaaS project, I do nt know what will!
Additionally, to Andrew and Segey, TaasS looks to have a very competent team consisting of nine developers and two Advisors. This was a contributing factor for my decision to invest my hard-earned money in to the TaaS project.

Where they will be using the same strategies, they have used to build their own wealth for the Taas Fund and it’s investors. As I mentioned before, the Taas Team will not have access to any of the ICO funds.

Currently, with the existing platforms that are out there, Investment Funds are not exactly what you would call transparent and it is not easy for the investor to see exactly where the fund managers are putting investments in real time, or what profits are being made for that matter. A lot of what happens with trading funds is based on trust, and where there is a need for trust, there is the potential for that trust to be taken advantage of.

Q1 pay-out due as soon as June 2017, just a couple of months down the road. The project is ready with no development left to undertake as far as the TaaS fund is concerned so the risk is lessened and the upside increased with a pay-out due in such a short amount of time, with pay-outs to Taas Token Holders being issued quarterly.

Taas has developed a revolutionary blockchain auditing tool that will be available to all investors of TaaS. Inventors will be able to see exactly where the Investment funds are and all funds will be provably accounted for 100% of the time and in real-time.

On top of that, using Smart Contracts, there is no need for Trust in the TaaS Team as the smart contract and the transparency of how the TaaS fund will work will mean that no individual or group of individuals have the ability to take advantage of any of the fund. Everything is automated and auditable, always.

This is something that is quite revolutionary and will appeal to many investors alike, and as a self- funding and perpetually growing fund that will, with the use of smart investing and with the use of strong analytics, should give its investors something to get excited about as the profit potential is actually quite astonishing when you stop and think about what the TaaS team have created here.
