BitCoin has been chosen to be the sacrificial lamb that the gov't will blame this up in coming Economic collapse. The government just has to pump it to an all time high, then when they are ready to release their own Crypto.. They'll either make it illegal to use others or they'll be like a security breach where a shit ton of Coins get stolen.. Then people will panic and try to sell their shares which will short us back to the stone age.. Then the gov't will say " before you loose everything you have, transfer it into our gov't Crypto where we can "protect you from events like this!" Then the central bank's corrupt the shit out of one Coin until it's the World Currency like the cover of the 1988 Economist!
This scenario is highly plausible because we all know that governments are corrupt, power hungry and they use all tools in their "control and manipulation" book they have.. and after all we are easily manipulated which is result of centuries of indoctrination and social setup they and those who obey haw created, the truth is that thinking outside of the box is prohibited in authoritarian society in which we live, but not all of us obey to this corrupt sistem! not all of us are willing tu give their sovereignty to bunch of greedy scumbags!
Lets say that they success in staging this scenario that will make BTC thru falls media and wall street trickery become so volatile and unsecure for the regular person and small business to ever restore security and invest in bitcoin, they will slow it down foreshore! but to stop it!? its impossible! there is one way they can do this and it's to shut down the internet :) but even then only one guy have to have access to bitcoin protocol so other who don't can give him transaction numbers on the pace of paper to confirm it on blockcahin, the main question is whether digital social innovation in form of blockchain or other protocol in the future can provide fundamentally new forms of power that are capable of tackling large-scale social, and even global crises, while empowering citizens and allowing real democratic participation and not this Corporate hegemony that operate in this so called democracy, its like body is democracy but the main wains of this body are hegemonistic and authoritarian! opposite of the body... result will be that the body cant function properly, and slowly but surely collapse! system by system.
