Ads would not be beneficial for this platform. If businesses want to influence the platform, they need to create accounts like everyone else, IMO.
Also, you're really not "invested" into this platform until you power up the steem sitting in your wallet. as of now, its just losing value from both dilution and prices dropping. At least if its powered up you get vests rewarded...
