Steem solar July, 2024 report: How far is it going?
Just like every other day, yesterday (27th August 2024) started on a good note even though I didn't sleep well the previous night due to the noise in my neighborhood. I discovered that churches in my area were holding their crusade which explains the reason for the disturbance.
Unfortunately, the law regulating "noise pollution restrictions" in residential areas like mine isn't enforced, otherwise, most churches would have faced some lawsuits by now for excessive noise in a residential area especially night.
Well, that's just by the way...
I got a new POS (point of sale) machine last month for my Steem solar & electrical business. Should you wonder what a POS machine is, you can learn more from this Wikipedia link.
This would help me in transactions with customers. For the past two months, I have discovered that most of my customers pays through either inter bank transfers or debit cards. They don't have physical cash.
I like the fact that this machine is very sleek compared to the bigger one. Now, one can easily pay for thier goods through this POS machine.
I got it for twenty one thousand naira (#21,000) which is equivalent to about 78 Steem.
I am so happy to purchase this machine for Steem solar and electricals.
I also received an email from one of the solar companies I patronize about their current promotion. I've mentioned this company before and my future plans to collaborate with them on producing solar components like batteries, inverters, and solar lights once I have sufficient funds.
This time, they're offering a promotion to top dealers who purchase a certain quantity. Unfortunately, my business hasn't yet reached that level. But someday, it will.
I didn't write the monthly report of Steem solar & electricals for the month of July, 2024 on time like I did the last time. The reason is because there were not much things happening that was so remarkable. And I was ill..., I just recovered.
However, I still feel it is important to give a little hightlights of how the business was operating last month.
Steem solar & electricals report for July, 2024
Steem solar & electricals is 2 months old now and I will say It's been another month of intensive growth and self awareness. It hasn't exactly been all too rossy but the month was quite fruitful.
This month compared to the previous month was a little bit rainy and hence business was dull.
Sales
One Solar installation - one million, eight hundred thousand naira (#1.8m) which is equivalent to 6,857 Steem and this happens to be the only installation I made for the month of July,2024.
Electrical services - one hundred and eighty thousand naira (#180,000) which is equivalent to 686 Steem
- Sales of panels and lights - four hundred and fifty thousand naira (#450,000) which is equivalent to 1725 Steem
Project completed
Client Acquisition
During the month, I have made a total number of 10 new clients. I have their contacts on my phone and I do send them weekly greetings. This relationship will definitely yield good fruit sometime in the future.
Achievements
- My customer base is increasing
- Atleast 40% sales
- I bought a new POS machine for transactions
- I purchased more 50 panels
In conclusion, it was a slow month with many valuable experiences in the business. I look forward to achieving greater heights in the business as well.
