Awesome. I’m in the process of developing an in person steemit training (focusing on blogging first, and not the other dapps) and also did some online training workshops a few months back. I definitely believe an easier startup experience on here is key.

It’s hard to say what might be helpful for me to share since I don’t know the full curriculum now. My brief experience teaching this so far tells me it is most important:

1 to set people up with an expectation of community connection around topics they care about, not lead with the profit potential.

2 to focus people on using tags to find content when starting, not Trending page for anything.

And 3 to focus on commenting on posts of others until one has built a following.

that first point is so important. a lot of the training i have planned for this will be centered around the ‘people’ and spending the time developing those relationships. i believe the rewards will come if that’s the last thing on your mind.
