I have realised that in life we have our dark areas which are our area of need, but when you have someone who comes to help you or assist you in your time of need that person will become a light to your life. Thus my article i have written after i have interactions with orphans the less privilledged people in my society who have had their lives changed by great philanthropists which i am writing about in this post.

Well I have come across two great couples which I have known who are doing an amazing and great job. Where I felt it in me that I will not be doing good if I just keep silent and not inform the world about great philanthropic works which have been done by these people namely Strive & Tsitsi Masiyiwa and Emmanuel & Ruth Makandiwa in Zimbabwe and in Africa.

Their great work they are doing to bring change in people's lives made me appreciate that for you to be a philanthropist its really a God given desire and calling. For personally I cannot reach their level and magnitude of their philanthropic works.

To me I always challenge myself that if I see another person doing great works which I am not able to do the best thing i can do its to appreciate and acknowledge them.
I have managed to have some interactions with the beneficiaries. That's when I felt that we shouldn't take philanthropic work as something it can bring a great positive change in the lives of the less privileged.

Where I have managed to have an interaction with a guy named Tendai a beneficiary of the scholarship program by Dr.Ruth Makandiwa, he narrated that for him to be an I.T systems programmer its because of this scholarship program. For he said he had no one even family or relatives had the capacity to pay tuition fees for him.

But a kind heart of great philanthropists Emmanuel Makandiwa and Ruth Makandiwa managed to make thousands of people to be graduates because of their scholarship program under the Agape Family Trust. Were to this date Ruth Makandiwa had a day to bring graduates and beneficiary of the scholarship programme the venue became small where it was over capacitated by beneficiaries some local and from abroad. The venue was filled with over five thousand people hence give thousand beneficiaries of their scolarship program.

To this it to touched my heart that these great philanthropists are bringing a new change and lightening up lives for the less privileged. Emmanuel Makandiwa and Ruth Makandiwa have donated to prisoners regularly they support widows, the elderly and orphans monthly by paying them rent, giving them monthly food hampers. And have drilled boreholes for communities which have few water sources in their areas.

Also I would like to acknowledge Strive Masiyiwa and Tsitsi Masiyiwa who are the founders of Capernaum Trust awhich scaters for over 40 000 HIV/AIDS orphans. Over the past years Strive Masiyiwa has provided scholarships to more than 100 000 young africans to study abroad and in Zimbabwe through Capernaum Trust.

With these great philanthropic work by Africans to help other Africans to have a better future and lives its commendable.
Thank you Strive & Tsitsi Masiyiwa and Ruth & Emmanule Makandiwa for the great philanthropic work you are doing in Africa.
And other great philanthropists i havenn't mentioned keep uo the great work.
