In this video, I will show & tell you how and why now is the time to make a great impression on Steem!

Rough Transcript

We all know of this Phenomenon that when you do better work that it takes a long time till you get paid more for it. This does not only exist only in the work world but also on Steem.

So how should we cope with the fact that it will take a long time till we get paid more for it and that it may never happen as well?

Philosophy will help us in this regard as it is a matter of your values, principles and what you think on a daily basis.

Many people are quitting their jobs when they don't get paid more for their efforts and the same thing happens here on Steem as well.

In fact, people are quitting much faster here than compared to a real job and call Steem a scam because they didn't make much money here even tho they created content for 6 months.

I talked about values, principles and what you think. So how can you change your values, principles and what you think to prevent you from quitting?

You Will have to sit down and ask yourself why you want to make money here. Is it only to get by? No, it is probably to leave your job.

So your goal is not to make money but to quit your job. Now how can you quit your job if the content that you create is not even mediocre?

You need to create content that enriches the life of other people and you must consider low-quality content and quitting shameful.

What would the world be if everyone would quit? We would have no electricity, no cars, no internet and many other things would not exist.

Now is the time to shine on Steem, to stay when everyone quits. That shows the others that also stay that you belong to the creators with steadfastness and they will respect you more for it which will lead to greater profits.

Imagine the worth of Steem and SBD goes to 20USD tomorrow and you have cashed out yesterday. Just think of all the Bitcoin holders that have cashed out their bitcoins when it just reached 300USD...

So don't quit, now is the time to shine.

@valorforfreedom I agree that people should hang in there knuckle down and get going. I will use a person joining a gym as an example. It's spring time or New Years (biggest time for people to join a gym) and you get into the gym thinking you are going to get in awesome shape, jacked, ripped or whatever you would like to call it. After a few months you don't see the progress that you thought you would. Of course you won't! It takes a long time to improve and see that huge improvement. So people quit. They just found out the hard way that it IS WORK!. If being in great shape was easy(now think about it) everyone would be buff. Steemit, being in shape or anything worthwhile takes hard work to achieve more success. If you keep at it you increase the chances of reaching your goals. Giving up is NEVER AN OPTION! Great post Phil. I enjoy these very much.

Good example. I really wanted to be buff so I spend a lot of time in the gym and learned about the value of discipline there. Reaching goals and fighting through pain is now a lot easier.

100% and thank you. 😊

you are so right. The time to prove oneself is now and reap the rewards later. The Dtube version did not load unfortunately but I watched it on youtube, thankyou.

Many people have trouble watching the DTube video that is why I always add the Youtube version from now on : )

It can be frustrating, especially for us newbies. I feel my content is useful for instance, but hardly noticed. I don't plan on quitting though, just get better. Steemit.com is still the best thing since sliced bread.

Your content can always be better, I for example always look out for things to improve my content. If you have any criticism, suggestions or wishes then just let me know them. 👍

Man, you know that all this is BS. The thing with Steemit is, you can get quicker small money, compared with an YouTube channel or a classic blog. But that's it. You and your content are solely dependant on the market moves.

My argument is you! You've been working like crazy for months, putting really valuable content out. But still, your rewards doesn't go over 20$, and as soon as you will stop posting, nobody will really care and the earnings will stop.

All this because is too early for Steemit, and the content is not evergreen. After seven days is equal with almost zero.

Is still worthy to be on Steemit, but I call the boom in two or three years from now. Implying that it will still be around :).
Why I am saying that? Well, this is a prototype. Bigger, smarter people are already working on something more user friendly :).

Yeah, it's really hard for people that are not cool with the big guys.

Giving up and just switching because its currently hard times ain't how I roll.

Accumulate tons of SBD and cash that out at a high prices=enough cash for years, I just wait for that.

I loved the video and agree with everything. Now is the time to grind while others are quitting. Putting out content that you can look back on and say " that's quality work " is VERY important. Thinking completely short term isn't a good thing at all.

Well said Todd, its a matter of honor and dignity.

You can not leave the battle without a fired bullet.

A lot of people are getting fed up with the whole upvote for upvote scam. People are blindly upvoting without even watching content. It makes it seem pointless trying to make good content.

Life is unfair.

From the first day I started to make a good content so everyone will read my post . But it is helping me just a little. That why I am now putting video too in my content so that it will be more informative.
