My 2Cents: PUSH

in #steem7 years ago

I am going to make this post as brief as possible.

PUSH

I got up today thinking about the decrease in the number of post many people make daily. I know there is no 'agreement' within the steemit whitepaper that we must be posting daily. There is also a factor of 'force majeure', that is, the possibility of unforeseen circumstance hindering our commitment to the Steemit community.

However, I have gone through my 'feeds' several times within a couple of hours ago and I see in form of meme, writeups and vlogs discussions about the fallen price of SBD and Steem. Some newcomers in the cryptocurrency market seem not to understand what is happening. Some persons have started getting discouraged because of the fall in price. My 2cents to everyone who is getting tired of Steeming is to PUSH. YES, POST UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS.

THE BRIGHT SIDE

In as much as a War situation leaves a lot of casualties, there are still those who benefit. This Steem price condition is a GREAT opportunity for people to achieve greater success in the shortest possible time. I am not an angel of doom but I wish the price can hover around 1steem to 1usd for like 2 weeks.

DON'T PANIC

The initial lure to the Steemit ecosystem from my random research of people trooping in is the rewards. Who doesn't like rewards? Sometime ago I heard one funny remark by someone, he said "I am looking for a bank that will give me a loan and leave me alone". That is similar to what Steemit is offering. Most of us came here with no investments to the system but we are reaping lots of monetary benefits. Do we now back out when the going seem tough?

Remember, life is full of ups and downs. Why not rearrange the recent LIMES the price is giving to a SMILE? The choice is yours. For me, the friendly relationship I've gained from my brief existence here far outweigh any monetary benefits I can think of. What if the rewards are no longer there? The friendships we built will be there, the knowledge we have gained will be there, the love we have experienced will be there. The Bottomline is KEEP STEEMING.

In the coming weeks, I will be applying for the position of a Steem Ambassador. There is no me, without you. Keep educating me, BETTER DAYS LIE AHEAD, so continue to PUSH.

DISCLAIMER: THE ABOVE GIBBERISH IS TOTALLY MY OPINION. I AM NOT A FINANCIAL EXPERT OR ANALYST. INSTEAD, I BELIEVE MORE IN THE LOVE AND KNOWLEDGE THAT ABOUNDS IN THE COMMUNITY.

My signout message is:

Every Cloud has a Silver Lining

STAY TUNED TO, @emjoe

WOW! Such powerful words, and I couldn't agree more. So happy I met you @emjoe! You are such a wonderful human :)

I am super happy to meet you too.

Keep steeming.

so true! love the signout msg :) every cloud has a silver lining! look for the beauty in the small things! Steem on :D

Thanks 😁.

When I joined, steem was at 82 cents and before, it had dropped to 10 c. There are some whales out there today who took the opportunity and bought a lot of steem when it was so low... And now, they are doing very well... Just keep steeming :)

Thanks for your presence. I wish it can go back to those 'good old days' of 10cents again. A lot of persons will become Whales if it does.

Thereafter, we may have a redefinition of whales. Lol.

Oh mehn thanks bro I so much enjoyed every piece From this platform

You are welcome

Hahahaha. I love the acronym PUSH-post Until something happens.
Even if steem goes as low as 0.75usd,I will still steem, I don't get much rewards from my post but just like you said,I am grateful for the relationships I have built!

Thanks for your sound opinion!

You are welcome dear.

Lets keep Steeming.

Thanks for the motivation! And you're right- don't panic, and just keep going!!!

I'm not an angel of doom either, haha, but I'd also like it to hover at 1 usd for 2 weeks!!!

Thanks dear.

Lol. That will be healthy for the platform.

Pretty sound advice, if you ask me, @emjoe. I bought some Steem a few days ago and turned it into Steem Power. I would advise anyone who can afford to, to do likewise. I’m investing in Steem because I believe in the project. I believe this is a great platform and like any other project, it will experience growing pain, just the the entire Cryptocurrency market. I’m a hodler, and will continue to be. Thanks for your 2 Cents. 👍

Thanks for taking the advantage of the situation and your comment @gregcar48.

You are so right man @emjoe we think alike

Woww... You have really motivated me... To tell you the truth... One can not survive here alone.. Eben when you think it's your tag that got you upvoted... No its not... We still need a community to join and also the spirit of kicking and steeming...
I gave up before... But with you post and the one I ready yesterday... I guess am the one you guess wrote this post for...
Thanks you for everything... I don't know how to show my gratitude to this wonderful motivationL post... I will always keep updated with you... Followed and upvoted..
Nice being a friend on steemit.. Believe we will meet up soon one... Thanks bro.. Keep it up

Thanks for coming around. I'm glad you like it

I don't understand the idea of "pushing " and posting just to post. Doesn't that just create a crappy experience for us as users since there is much more crap to wade through? Posting more than once or twice a day is not necessary, unless you really have some incredible work to show. Or you are teaching requested topics or something :/

The PUSH idea is all about Steeming. This includes making original posts and curation activities just like you did. Not necessarily posting "crap" to the community.

Steem On @kilbride. Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, I see by looking at your posts that you focus on quality not quantity. I misread the push at first as a call to just post A LOT, because I see that here, so it was my mistake :) Steem on friend! xox

Thanks for coming around. You just earned a friend from the apology.

No hard feelings though.
