The Misery Socialism Brings: Venezuela Nightmare

in #socialism7 years ago

From a recent Reuters report:

“The hunger and despair are far worse than people realize, what we are seeing on the roads is just another manifestation of that. We’ve also been seeing people stealing and butchering animals in fields, attacking shops and blocking roads to protest their lack of food. It’s become extremely serious,” said ORC director Oswaldo Ramirez.

Mad Max violence stalks Venezuela's lawless roads

What Reuters will not say is this, socialist policies did this! Socialism has resulted in the starvation of tens of millions of people throughout the world over the past century!

If you're a Bernie Sanders supporter in the US, or a Greens or Labor voter in Australia, take note of what comrade Maduro did to Venezuela! Their policies are the same! If you tax the rich, the poor will get poorer, the economy will collapse, and mass starvation will ensue!

The global left wants to wash its hands now, but we must not forget that the left of the whole world openly supported Chávez in life and Maduro at the beginning of his mandate, from Jeremy Corbyn in the United Kingdom to Jean-Luc Mélenchon in France and Pablo Iglesias in Spain, and ending, just to name the best known, with Bernie Sanders of the United States.

The latter, who now refuses to mention Venezuela, we can find on his page as Senator of Vermont a very interesting article.

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who's the banana republic now?

This was said in August 2011, when Venezuela, Ecuador and Argentina were governed by the South American pink tide and had not yet collapsed their economies.

Don't forget Paul Krugman, Nobel prize winning economist!

All of these comptemptible liars should be sent to Venezuela and forced to live on minimum wage!

There really are too many, from Hollywood stars like Sean Penn to Nobel prizes like you say Paul Krugman, even Noam Chomsky, who calls himself "anarchist". They are too many, you would be surprised how many, I have information about Obama as well, being president, although indirectly, which would not surprise me very much.

It is very serious that the media do not say things as they are, what has happened to my country Venezuela has been caused by socialism, a nefarious system that really gives equality to all its population... equality of poverty. Never trust socialist politicians!

Oddly enough I don't hear much about it in the FUDCurr News.
imagine that.
