Instructing the child in the Word of God, guarantees that even if he has serious difficulties in life, he will not succumb to them, because he will have the necessary tools to face adversity successfully, but the process must begin from the first years of life.

The great responsibility of parents today, is to instruct children in the Word of God, since today they are more exposed to the vices, dangers and all the effects that brings the evil of our society. It is also important to instruct them in the Word of God so that when confronted with deceit and false theories about the non-existence of God, they can have a solid foundation that allows them to stand firm in the truth of their Christian principles.

In Deuteronomy 6: 1-9, it says the following:..

"These, then, are the commandments, statutes, and decrees which Jehovah your God commanded to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going to take it; so that you may fear Jehovah your God, keeping all his statutes and his commandments that I command you, you, your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life, so that your days may be prolonged.
Hear then, O Israel, and take care that you do them, that it may be well with you in the land flowing with milk and honey, and multiplying yourselves, as the LORD God of your fathers has said to you. Hear, Israel: Jehovah our God, Jehovah one is.

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words that I command you today, will be on your heart; and you shall teach them to your children, and you shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes; and you will write them on the posts of your house, and on your doors. "

These were the words of Moses to the people of Israel, about the Will of God in their lives, after having taken them out of the bondage of Egypt and into the Promised Land.

The instruction of the Word of God must be an active part of the upbringing of children from their earliest childhood, while also developing knowledge and sexuality, so that when they are big and have to face an unbelieving world, flawed and irreverent, have the necessary tools not to succumb to the enormous challenges they will have to face.
Does this mean that the man who knows and has lived from a young age the knowledge of the Word of God in his home, will never have any failure and that his life will be rosy? Of course not, in any way. Remember that difficulties and problems are part of our human condition in a fallen world, as a punishment thanks to disobedience and sin.
However, knowing the Word of God and being a habit in your life, makes it less vulnerable and will have the necessary and reliable elements to successfully overcome any kind of difficulty as opposed to those who do not know it.

The education of children is the responsibility of parents and church leaders. As a father, it is important to understand that the Christian foundation can be started very early in the child's life. When children are young they are told the lessons of the Bible beginning with stories like Adam and Eve, Noah, Jesus, and other characters, as well as events from the Bible. These stories help build a strong moral foundation for the child. Teaching them the Bible will allow them to have a better understanding of the ways of God and the world. By constantly being a witness to the power and love of God and an example of ways to worship Him, a father can direct his children to love and honor God. There is no better time in a child's life than the moment of salvation.
