That smile was cold, adding a few eerie touches to the dark night.

I watched as the plane landed in Yunnan, and the driver came to pick up the passengers.

Sarah slowly pulled out a sharp dagger from her waist, laughing softly.

“Leave the car, everyone else get lost!”

Her gaze was as deep as a bottomless cliff, sending chills down people's spines.

The ten or so bodyguards had all been sent to the hospital by her before.

They collectively swallowed hard and whispered their advice.

“Miss, sir and madam specifically instructed us before we left to ensure your safety.”

She burst into laughter, her tone filled with reckless madness.

“Just you guys?”

After saying that, her expression changed instantly, staring at them like a hungry wolf.

“Either you roll out yourselves,

or I’ll cripple you.”

The bodyguards hesitated one by one.

I knew what they were concerned about.

A dozen of them could easily overpower Sarah.

But her reckless ferocity and lethal instincts were something they dared not provoke.

In the end, this dispute concluded with Sarah injuring three bodyguards.

The bodyguards hurriedly dragged their three teammates away, their steps a mix of panic and relief after surviving the ordeal.

I saw her sitting alone in the car, her eyes glowing with a crimson light.

After a long while, she laughed again, playfully saying,

“Emily, oh Emily.

I haven’t killed you yet, and you dare to go missing?

You better keep one life intact; otherwise, I’ll dig up your corpse and make you continue to atone for your sins.”

I gave a wry smile.

It turned out she hated me so much that she wanted to desecrate my corpse.

Unfortunately for her, I hadn’t left even a bone in this world; I had long turned into dog feces.

How foolish of me to think otherwise.

I remembered the day she was brought back from the juvenile detention center by our parents; she was shockingly thin.

She warily observed everything around her, her eyes resembling those of an injured starving wolf, her cold gaze leaving me nowhere to hide.

I mustered my courage and slowly approached her.

I said, “Welcome home. For so many years, I stole everything from you.”

“I will make it up; I will return everything to you.”

She slapped me so hard that I felt dizzy; she yanked my hair fiercely while her cold gaze mixed with mockery.

“I’m not at a point where I need pity.

And you, thief, must atone for your sins.”

She rejected everyone’s approach.

After multiple failed attempts to persuade her, our parents chose to maintain a certain distance from her as well.

But I always felt that she was my responsibility.

I went through great lengths to treat her well, even if it meant breaking a few ribs and almost dying several times; I endured it all.

Finally, when I reached adulthood,

I proposed to leave and return everything to her.

But she coldly refused.

“You can only atone by staying here; do you understand?”

I understood.

My parents told me she had suffered greatly outside.

To survive and avoid being bullied, she grew up amidst fists and kicks, carving out a bloody path on her own.

She fought in underground boxing rings; she ate dead rats and even escaped from the jaws of man-eating beasts.

Aside from killing and arson, she had done almost everything imaginable.

I followed her car all the way,

but couldn’t help sighing inwardly.

However, I was dead.

If Sarah couldn’t even find my body,

she would probably go insane with rage.
