If you are not using a VPN by 2017, then you are using the Internet extremely wrong. By 2017 the Internet tracking has became so insidious that browsing the net without a VPN has became unbearable.

Corporate Tracking

  • We have Google on basically every website tracking people. I see the CATPCHA crap everywhere, from Reddit, to Stackoverflow, to even Bitcointalk succumbed to it. Almost every major website has succumbed to that unfortunately despite being a horrible service since many times it rejects your connection due to “spam coming from this network” is their excuse. So if you are not on the right IP address, they can just basically censor you out of any major website that requires that CAPTCHA for login. How wonderful….

  • Then of course I don’t even have to remind people of Google Analytics, which is their main tracking system, that is present in almost every website, totally tracking everyone through cookies and other scripts.

  • Then we have Cloudfare which is another privacy nightmare, most websites are in on it.

  • Then we have Facebook, Twitter and other services being loaded on every website. Even when I login to Steemit I see about 2-3 Google links and 1-2 Facebook links being preloaded. Now why would the Steemit login page (which looks clean by the way) load Google and Facebook links in the background?

  • Amazon basically has the most web-server services out there, I think about 60% of the Internet is hosted on AWS servers.

  • And let’s not forget about the countless CDN systems which are also integrated in most websites!

So as you see the surveillance system is everywhere…

Corporate collaboration with th Spy Grid:

I don’t even have to remind people how close these companies are to the spy grid:

Choosing a VPN

So really if you want a shed of privacy, you must use VPN. I don’t care which one, but use at least one. They are literally trying to ban VPN’s now, and if people don’t use them then it’s easier for them to ban them since there won’t be a public backlash.

So you must support the VPN industry, so that we can have at least a shed of privacy left. It’s not perfect, there are still ways to track people through a VPN, but it’s the best system we have, and it almost became necessary in this Orwellian world.

Now I have tried to impartially and factually analyze the best VPN’s out there and I already made a list of it, which you should see here:

That list is basically the best list from a privacy standpoint. Now of course you could have different expectations from a VPN, like you’d want just a cheap one, or maybe you want one with a big bandwidth, or perhaps you don’t care whether the VPN is located in the Five Eyes jurisdictions or not.

I mean it’s your choice, whatever fits your needs. So if you want to customize a VPN service provider for your needs, then you should visit this website and select the one that best fits your needs:

But your must use a VPN, really in 2017 there is no other option left. The online tyranny is by far too insidious, so people have to protect their privacy.

Enhancing Browser

Aside from that you should also enhance the security policy of your Internet browser, preferably Firefox:

Computer Security

And of course secure your computer as well against malware and other nefarious cyber threats:

Conclusion

You must use a VPN for the sake of your privacy, but also for the sake of everyone’s privacy. The Globalists are pushing for an all-out ban on Internet anonymity as per their Global Government agenda. If people don’t use VPN’s, then there won’t be a public outlash if they try to ban it, and they definitely are trying to ban it.

Their goal is a Smart-ID based login system or fingerprint authenticated Internet connection, virtually totally eliminating any form of online anonymity. Who knows later they will create permit-based Internet, so that only bootlickers of the Government would have access to the Internet, just like in North Korea.

They are turning the Internet against the common person. One way to stop this Orwellian madness is to reclaim your privacy right now.

The cheapest VPN starts from 1.5$/month (for annual subscription pricing), and there are even FREE VPN’s, but they come with restrictions and limits.

But I’d say you can get a decent VPN service for 5$/month. Is your privacy worth that much?

It should, because if these Globalists are selling your personal data, which they are already doing massively, then the idea of identity theft and the resulting damage becomes very likely.

So yeah if you don’t want some criminal from the 3rd world grabbing all your personal data from some major leak or essentially buying it and causing you serious damages (like taking out loans in your name, or committing crimes in your name), then you might want to spare 5$/month on privacy.

People have to realize that this is not a joke, privacy is a life & death question. It’s in the tribal nature of a human to have privacy, without it, you are nothing but a prey being abused by any predator that comes along.

Thanks for the lenghty post, I enjoyed it all the way down!

Great post.
Perhaps you can do a step by step "how to" post.?
Maybe pick a cheap VPN provider (low cost & secure) that can get the job done.
or perhaps (to avoid bias) pick 3 different providers....based on different criteria.
Just an idea.

It's not that hard to setup a VPN, there are tons of videos on youtube, it can be setup in 10 minutes really.

Most VPN providers now accept Bitcoin, so it can be totally anonymous.

I heard that russia has a law that ban vpn. Governments fear private users. They want you to be on the spot that they see.

Many governments are on the verge of banning it: China, Australia, etc..

Thank you for reminding people !
Not always possible but it's one layer of protection for sure.
Here is my sugestion and free version available ;)

good privacy post. rt'd :D

VPN rules, you know. Hahaha!

7 VPNs and the tor bundle and you should be fine :)

Soon there will be heavily guarded illegal back street internet cafes running the internet through 10 VPN's charging $100 an hour for access. People on the streets will be begging for DOGE coin just to exchange for 20 mins on Facebook a day. We are looking at a terrible dystopian digital future if things don't change.

Nice post. Thanks.

Wow isn't that excessive? 7 VPN's connecting to eachother? That would slow things down immensely wouldn't it?

I think 1 VPN which has multi-hop feature is enough, or maybe 2 for extra privacy.

Lol yes you are probably right. It was just something I used to see hackers joke about on forums back in the day.

What is the connection between DOGE coin and facebook, and why will people o the streets be begging for anything in exchange for facebook? It is free and promises to remain free.
And most people will not pay so much just to have alledgedly more privacy.

Great info, thanks for the reminder!

Thank you for this. I've been wanting to use a VPN for a while now, but I didn't necessarily know where to start with it. I'll be heeding your advice!

You should watch some youtube videos I am sure they have good tutorials how to set it up correctly (with firewall, config etc) if you are a novice to them.

There is probably a tutorial on the VPN provider's website, it shouldn't be hard to do, it takes like 10 minutes to set it up and then it works perfectly.

One thing that is important is to configure the DNS leaks in the firewall if possible, or timetimes the VPN software auto-configures it on your machine, most of them come with DNS protection so that should be safe.

Totally agreed
