Although it was sold in Brazil, the Ranger had left the North American market in 2011. Its presence caused some excitement in the event. Maybe the repaginated look or the 2.3 EcoBoost engine, which equips some versions of Mustang, which delivers 317 horses and 48.3 kgfm. The gearbox is automatic with 10 gears.

The pickup offers the 4 × 2 or 4 × 4 pulls, and three finishing versions: XL, XLT and Lariat. The US model, which shares the Brazilian base, but will not appear here, begins to be sold there later this year.

One of the icons of the American pickup trucks, the Rams' "little one" lost a few pounds, gained 102 kg, gained a new suspension and an electric system that assists V6 or V8 engines. It may be until it comes to Brazil, but with less horsepower than the V6 3.6, 310-horsepower and 37.2-kgfm versions, and the 5.7-liter V8, 400-horsepower and 56.7-kg-km-torque exposed in Detroit.

The suspension springs of the new version were replaced by air pockets. The auxiliary electrical system is similar to what Mercedes also introduced in Detroit. In the case of pickups, it provides an extra torque of 12.5 kgfm, which, according to the brand, helps reduce fuel consumption.

Yet for that purpose, it is equipped with active aerodynamic elements, such as a spoiler behind the bumper that changes position according to speed.

The Ram 1500 is always sold with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is capable of towing almost 6 tons and carrying 1,043 pounds in the bucket.

The design of the truck remains imposing, and is now more luxurious. The interior of the car can be carbon fiber or wood.

TECHNOLOGY The multimedia kit's inches vary by version (may be 5, 8.4 or 12 ") inches, but offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

SILVERADO

The Chevrolet model is also lighter, lost 204 pounds even growing (10cm of wheelbase and 4.1cm were added in the cabin). The eight versions offered to the public vary between V8 5.3 and 6.2 petrol engines and 3.0 six-cylinder turbodiesel, all with 10-speed automatic transmission.
