The Kelley project begins when it gets a chance to take some photos above Los Angeles International Airport, or LAX. He is very interested to see the side that is usually not seen by regular passengers

The experience at LAX sparked the idea of making 'Life Cycles'. Then, Kelley decided to photograph the plane at another stage of her life

Interested in seeing the plane in the final stage of its existence, Kelley hired a helicopter and headed to the ship's last-minute bases in a desert in California

Upon arriving in the desert in California, Kelley was shocked by the unexpected pattern created by the plane when it was retired

The photographs in the desert showed the planes lined up and ready to be dragged. In the other photo shows the remains of the planes are dismembered
