Most beautiful lake in Canada!

in #photography7 years ago

Few would argue that there's a more beautiful lake in the world than Moraine Lake in Canada! If you know of one, please tell me because I need to visit it. Moraine Lake is right outside of Banff in Alberta.

Its vivid colours are the most incredible I've ever seen, and the blue hues of the water change as the seasons progress, from darker royal blue to turquoise in the summer.

Hello @eleanorisdale Excellent view. Like I am there with you. :) Hope to see some more work. I am also in art, but in video production. Best from Serbia :D

Thank you! Awesome, I'd love to get into video, but that's just a whole other level haha

What a beautiful Canada greetings from Venezuela good post

Glad you enjoy :)

Beautiful. I missed visiting Moraine last year. My personal Favorite is Peyto and then I also like Emerald lake in BC.

I vote Emerald I think.....or Bow :) That said, Moraine is pretty spectacular.

I have to visit it next time then, may be I will change my opinion then :)

Those are both incredible!

That's bloody amazing! I am yet to visit one of these amazing blue lakes but I hope to in the next 6 months!!

Great shot

Definitely keep it on the radar! And check for opening dates - they close the road to the lake during winter season and only open it again when the weather is good to avoid risk of avalanche.

Great. Thanks for the tip!

Moraine is lovely. One of my faves for sure. It's a toss up between that and Emerald....or maybe Bow.

All amazing! I love the ones close to Vancouver and Whistler too, like Sasamat Lake and Lost Lake. Both are incredible for swimming.

Incredibly freeeeeeezing :)

Stunning! Thanks for sharing.
