The information I received, this place is a bastion of the kingdom of Aceh Darussalam. In 2004-2005, this fortress had been "drowned" due to changes in topography and sea level post tsunami. The local government then fix the path to get to this fort in the rehabilitation period. Now, visitors are easy to access the area of this cultural heritage site. The area here is beautiful, on the west side bordering the sea and residential population, while the eastern part there are green hills.
