Power of the moon

in #photocircle5 years ago (edited)

This is the time of the month when the atmosphere is tenser - how could it not be, as the rising moon again shines in the sky. This mysterious celestial body has always been spirited, inspiring artists, romantics, influence world events and landmarks, moving the oceans, as well as affecting humans, animals and plant growth - in short, everything that is alive on our Earth.
True meaning and creation of the moon are still veiled in a mystery, but it is known to have an extremely powerful impact on our planet. We could say that it represents a kind of pulse of Mother Nature, which inspires us with a wonderful cosmic power.
The moon embodies the feminine aspect as opposed to the Sun, which personifies the male. The sun is the center of our solar system and at the same time the closest star to us, which gives us light and warmth and allows us to live on the planet at all. The reflection of the Sun is thus the one that allows the Moon to be visible at all and consequently allows it to reveal all its beauty, power and attractiveness.
Over the decades, there have been many scientific reports for and against the influence of the moon on human behavior. Some opinions are that all objects, including stars and planets, emit subtle frequencies that can affect us in various ways at the physical and subtle (intangible) levels. Our thoughts or impressions have been accumulating for many years, or lives, which influence our current thoughts and actions, since they have their subtle frequencies. Since the influence of the moon on man and nature tends to be more spiritual than physical, you can protect yourself or mitigate your influence by devoting yourself, your good mood and positive attitude. A tip for those who feel particularly vulnerable around the full moon, perhaps “Point your sails and sail as calmly as possible through the storm”.

The moon has always fascinated people around the world, asking what its true power is. For millennia, they have been known to influence the tide of the sea, the cycle of menstruation, the growth of plants and the behavior of humans and animals on this planet in general. But this is just a theory that it also affects human behavior. Given that the human body is made around 70% water, it would be almost logical for it to affect humans as well, but there is no clear evidence for this. Maybe in the future we will know more about this.

For many nations, the Moon has been associated with the beauty and mystery of the feminine. An obvious example of this is the ancient Greek goddess Artemis. She was considered the patroness of three worlds and all life on Earth. As the embodiment of the ever-growing Moon, she was identified with an endless circle of life and death. The moon, as a symbol of the mysterious and incomprehensible feminine energy of the yin, occupies a fundamental place in Chinese culture too. The Incas and Maya associated the goddess of the moon with the image of her mother, worshiping and protecting pregnant women, the family hearth, and fertility.

A few years ago I decided on a tattoo. I have always been fascinated by the power of the moon and the sun, so I wanted to combine them. The very meaning of these two beings together convinced me that this was the right tattoo for me.

We perceive the sun as a symbol of eternal life, the human bright soul and which carries positive energy. The moon is a symbol of mystery, pacification, and power.
With these two, you combine the two opposites and you get a symbol of the harmony of womanhood and manhood. The unity of masculine and feminine energy forms a sign of the infinity and wisdom of the universe. They say, that people who choose such an image, have a philosophical view of the mind. They intuitively strive for the beauty of the spiritual and the physical, perfecting themselves to achieve divine balance.

Actually, all my tattoos are connected and they have meaning. Meaning, which is important just for me. So, I'm sharing photo of my back with you ;)

Every man has his own opinion, and every opinion must be respected, no matter how strange it may be, because there is no actual evidence and at this moment everybody has right.

And what is your opinion? Does the moon have an impact on a human or are these just the theories we have learned from the ancient civilizations?

Hello Tina,
Superb post... and I LOVE your tattoos! I certainly do think the Moon (and stars) have an effect on us all - funnily enough I just did a post touching on this subject earlier today also!
We are bio-electrical beings in a bio-electric Universe - so we will feel these forces, in various forms, such as astrology and health (positive and negative) and well being from particular healing places (stone circles, pyramids, ancient temple sites), which always have interesting electrical properties by the way!

Have a great day ... You have a new follower!

Good morning @icedrum 😊 thank u so much for your kind words...I was always interested in energy around us and of course ancient stuff but I'm not sure why are this healing places...
a lot of electrical activity was detected around the temples so there is definitely something about it...we are special and we have a lot more to discover about our world, universe and us...how we were made...So much unanswered questions....
Btw your article is great and thank u for upvote and resteem 😎

How do you feel about theories about the moon being hollow? Do you think we’ve ever really been there? And what lies on the dark side of the moon?

Hey, about moon being hollow, I'm not sure really...there is a lot of theory about earth being hollow...apparently Hitler was looking for an entry :) our landing on moon...hmmm...that is very interesting and we can debate a lot about that...my opinion...I'm not sure that we landed😁 and dark side of the moon...who knows...😎 maybe is something that we don't know :) but what do you think?

It sure has an impact. If it works as a magnet of the ocean, it sure has kind of energy. Btw, second major cause of high tide (except the moon itself) is rising temperature in the ocean through the day, because water is also expanding with higher temperature. Nice tattoo by the way ;)

Ok, I didn't know that ;) moon has definitely impact on us but I'm not sure if that's why we can't sleep ;) maybe because is so bright 😁 and thank u, it's still not finish😊😊

Well, it does not have any impact on me. But I know some people, very sensitive with their sleep, depending on the moon. So I find that pretty interesting

Yesterday was full moon and I was sleeping like a baby...So no impact on me either 😁😁🤘

So you are one of the lucky ones too ;) welcome to the team :D

Thank u ...I'm very grateful 😁😁

Hey @tinabrezpike this is a wonderful post you have put such a lot of effort into - I agree totally and we cannot exist without our moon ... I heard it was not always here but pulled into position at some point- - how can such powerful components to existence just happen to be in the right place? 😂 creation is such a mysterious thing when we don’t know the entire history of how everything came to be. Although there are some interesting theories for sure.
I LOVE your tattoo by the way - Fittingly delicate and beautiful... for such a rare being as yourself ☺️ Resteemed

Thank u @sallybeth23 😚😚 one theory is thay the moon is a sister planet that formed next to Earth. However, this theory does not explain the missing metal core, and then another theory states that the moon formed in a part of the solar system poor with metals and that it was trapped in orbit around Earth later. This theory, however, collapsed when the same oxygen isotope ratios were found on the moon as on Earth and third, perhaps a little bit crazy idea, says that the Earth was spinning so fast that it threw away the part of the mantle that formed into the moon 😁 so who knows 😁 maybe in few years we will know the truth ;) I'm so busy this days with school, I'm not having time to write articles:( but in 2 weeks I'm doneee 😍😍 love and kisses ❤❤❤

We may never know for sure but it’s interesting to read different theories always. Wow just two weeks more of studying!! That’s amazing!! You should be VERY proud of yourself. I think you are brilliant! 🤗❤️
