Halloween: All soul's day! 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 👻👻👻 (Filipino's Halloween in philippines)

Halloween here in the Philippines is not like the Halloween in the Western countries. Although it’s a big holiday (comparable to Christmas here), we celebrate it in a different manner. Halloween in the Philippines lasts from the eve of October 31 (or even before this day) to November 2. Due to our strong Catholic background, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 are spent remembering our dead loved ones and these dates will usually find most of us in one place only: the cemetery or at home and pray together to all our love ones who passed away already and this is make us complete and eat all sticky rice eating like rice cake that usually filipino prepare in november 1.

I grow up in kind of halloween going to cemetery and pray all the soul's of my love ones and also we are all complete family from first cousin and relatives, we cooperate cleaning and staying in cemetery for our loved ones and celebrate all soul's day with a lot of different types of sticky rice recipe like filipino tradition, we offer that to the soul's with candle lit with prayers of us.
