It's expensive to start, about $5000 US but after that it's pretty cheap. It's definitely the cheapest form of aviation and worth every penny! If you can find someone who can mentor you and hang around a flight park long enoguh you may score some used gear really cheap or free even, the community likes to sponsor people who are interested in free flight ;)
