Yuan Meng, the first giant panda cub born in France, celebrated its first birthday on Saturday at the Beauval Zoo in central France, where large crowds joined the chubby bear’s birthday party despite the hot weather.

To surprise the birthday boy, staff at the zoo prepared a fruity three tier cake made of bamboo, honey, apples, oranges, strawberries and lemons. 🍋🍓🍎🍊
