They both pay between $14-$25 USD per hour depending qualifications and experience, and they both work with kids from China. There are some key differences such as; Qkids requires an internet speed of at least 10mbps download and 2 up, and Gogo requires significantly less, although faster is better. In Qkids you will be working with one to four students and in Gogo it is always one on one. Qkids requires that you are working towards a degree, and Gogo requires a degree. They both require a TEFL certification which can be found for very cheap on Groupon, a 40 certificate is sufficient and can be completed in three or four hours. I prefer Gogo as the pay tends to be higher, but it is easier to get hired on with Qkids. Both companies provide the classroom and curriculum so preparation time is very low.
