OCD DAILY - Issue #26

Welcome to the 26th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #26 highlights content from eight (8) flourishing Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our (20) curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered eight wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.

The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say hello

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Today’s top nomination as curated by @Dorman: @Openmindedtravel wants to the historically rich and visually stunning nation that is Colombia. Over the years Colombia has had its share of battles from guerilla groups, cartels, and other such issues. Nonetheless it features such landscapes that they’d make for the perfect post card with ease. As of recent Colombia has become safer for tourists. Even still, not all parts would make for a safe place to make passage. Click HERE if you’d like to avoid taking part in a reboot of the television banged up abroad.

Our Second Piece as curated by @Guyfawkes4-20: @Xplosive wants to share his goals toward a better means for himself. In life there are some things we can’t change. One of those things is the unfortunate condition in which someone has to take on autism. However, one can change their life through how much heart they have regardless of the cards they’d been dealt. Click HERE if you’d like to see someone that isn’t here to complain about what’s out of his control as he’s chosen to embrace progress.

Our Third Piece as curated by @Kryptik: @Holoz0r wants to present a question to us all and has chosen to provide a part of the answer. The question relates to time; how we see it, use it and the relativity of things around it. Some would say that money is the most valuable thing one could ever possess, as it is the root to all. The argument as presented gives actual basis for the belief that it is actually time which carries the greater value. Click HERE if you’d like to see how your value of time stacks up that of others from the case studies as given.

Our Fourth Piece as curated by @Jacobchamplain: @Abigail-dantes presents a rather interesting case study in which you may want to reconsider what you let yours kids watch. It begins with tales of murder and other such heinous crimes that were thwarted before they were able to make good on their end game. We live in a world that gives us access to wicked happenings day in and out. Click HERE if you’d like to see who the possible culprit is in possibly making children turn to such means of violence..

Our Fifth Piece as curated by @Suesa: @Apsu is here to let the world know that bees, wasps, hornets and bumblebees are not one in the same. Quick tip: after a bee stings a person it will typically die while wasps hornets and bumblebees will live on. If you’ve ever been stung by a bee there is a good chance you got advice from people that may or may not have helped. Click HERE for actual advice, to better know the species as listed above and if refraining from bothering a bee actually works.

Our Sixth Piece as curated by @Howtostartablog: @Marty-art wants to take you through an evening of uncertainty, desperation, mayhem, and hope. Zombies had been all the talk since the classic Night of the Living Dead. Unlike some stories about the walking dead his is like poetry in motion as he paints the picture literally speaking and the words do the transition and overall story great justice. Click HERE if you are not a fan of terrible television such as fear the walking dead and want to have a good read with great anticipation of each new installment.

Our Seventh Piece as curated by @Gmuxx: @Cristof wants to share something personal with all of you. It is a story that celebrates living on your own terms, the hatred of one gang (baseball team) for another, and the avid guardian for the home team. The rivalry itself is over 100 years old but in this writing played out on more than one field. Click HERE if you’d like to see what one man decided to do when it was he was called up to bat for what would be known as the biggest game of his life.

Our Eighth and Final Piece as curated by @Jeanpi1908: @Beesteem doesn’t want you to take aspirin without knowing how it actually works. Interesting fact: The key ingredient to aspirin, which is known as salicylic acid, can be found in different facial astringents. When you have a fever, a headache, feel dizzy or even dealing with some sort of pain people usually suggest that you should take an aspirin. Click HERE to know what that aspirin is really doing and how.

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!

Keep up the good work creating original content
