OCD DAILY - Issue #149

Welcome to the 149th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #149 highlights content from ten (10) marvelous Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered ten incredible pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer Steemit users don’t have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in tremendous effort to create flourishing content.

The nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Today's top nomination comes from @ravenruis. He shares a secret family beer recipe which was passed down by his friend. For this recipe you need to have patience, but you will end up with a delicious brew for your relaxing sundays! The steps are detailed provided with the necessary pictures.

If you would like to try something new go try this recipe out!

Our second post of the day comes from @rina.tours.world. The post was found by @howtostartablog and it is a beautiful travel blog of the Boraclay island in the Philippines. She shows us her boat ride to the island where we can see people cliff jumping!

The pictures of the people jumping down while doing some flips are amazing!

This relaxing Christmas cover by @kindstranger is perfect for when you finished your Christmas meal with your family and you all are sitting at the fireplace, chit-chatting to each other. These kinds of videos shows how many talented Steemians we have on this platform. If you are looking to relax for a moment you should definitely check out her cover!

Thank you @cabelindsay for finding this gem!

The next post of the day is of @christiesnelson, a very talented artist. She took the challenge of his client to make a pet portrait of his client's dogs. It was a difficult task because the cute animals have a shiny skin with different kinds of shades. In our opinion she has done a great job to show this in his painting! She also shows her painting of a year ago from the same client! It is amazing to see how much she has improved!

Our next author @captainyeeha is also an artist, but he is an unconventional one. He describes himself as a kinectic sculptor and inventor. He is best known for his work "the burning man" and "Mechatheuthis", which looks like a moving octopus made of metal parts. In this post he shows how he makes a one of the tentacles of the Machathethis. His blog is full of wonderful and inspirting creations. This artist is definitely worth checking out!

The next post of the day is an introduction post by a photographer named @swerdan, who came back to Steemit after 4 months (a wise choice). We are glad that he has returned because if you take a look of his photos, they are truly breathtaking. They say "A picture says more than a thousands words", which definitely applies for his work. Be sure to follow him, we can expect many great posts from this author!

For our next artist of the day @tomschlaiss we think we have found an artist with masterful skills found by @m31. This artist's attention for detail is magnificent. When set your eyes on the works you don't know where to look, because there is so much going on....

One of our curators @anomadsoul is holding a contest, in which people are showing their daily life. One of the entries was this cool video made by @renalexis, in which she gives a peek of her daily life in the Philipines!

Have you ever wondered how Hangzhou (China) looks like? Steemian @burkulese takes us on a trip to this beautiful place. He went with a good friend of him to visit a big lake in the center of Hangzhou. Because they arived just before the sun set down, Burkulese could make wonderful pictures in which we can see the silent lake with its beautiful temples. During the night they visited an amazing light show of foantains. As he described it: "best fountain shows I have seen only to be bested by the fountains of the Bellagio in Las Vegas."

If you haven't decided your next location for your holiday, visit his post for inspiration!

Thankyou @ocd for including my post. It feels great to nominated amongst such great posts. Some great new discoveries here!

Aw, thank you so much for sharing my post, @ocd! I feel so lucky to be included amongst these shining steem-stars :) I especially love @ravenruis’s recipe... I very recently discovered the beautiful art of fermentation — How incredible that we can mash up nature’s goodies and they transform into mega-nutritious elixirs. Glad you found her post, @mk40!

Hello I did not know that this group existed, I think it's great that they support both new people who try hard, as well as articles that are enriching and teach the community. Apparently the content can be in English or Spanish is it correct? I always seek to support the resources with which I count, that I still have very little steem power. I have dedicated to make several guides because I have seen many users making incorrect use of the platform.

your post is very good, very useful, your post is so inspiration for me and all users of steemit, I am proud of you ... I am amazed to you, you are very fantastic in making a post, hopefully triumph in the work .. Thank you 💏😘

Your post is marvellous! Keep up the good work. I follow and upvote you.

thanks for showcasing these talent.
