Haven't posted in a while. Let's go.

So, I had a great week. I ended up officially getting a promotion at a job that I literally started just over a month ago. It's quite easy, but I'm really enjoying it. I've gotten compliments from members of the team who have been there for forever which is a great feeling. I wasn't sure how it would go being such a small department, but it's started strong. The only downside is that with a department this small, there tends to be a lot of drama. Related: Nearly the entire department is female so that explains everything. I do a lot more work than a lot of the people on the team. I feel like a few of them slack off a lot because it's so relaxed, so I can understand why, however I am there to make an impression. I don't intend on this department being my last stop in what is hopefully a long career, because I want to end up in some sort of supervisory role. It'll take a long time because all of the supervisors have been there for 30+ years, but that's okay. I'm young and full of ambition. Needless to say, this is going to be a long and eventful journey.

I bought a Samsung Galazy S8. I can say without a doubt that it's the best phone I have ever had and I've barely scratched the surface with the features it has. The Iris scanner is a beautiful thing that I don't think I'll ever want to get rid of. It was expensive, but my god was it worth it.

I ended up losing quite a bit of Ether early in the week because I got a bit careless. The huge dump to .037 came out of nowhere.. kind of.. so I got margin called. Ended up losing a bit of my stack. It's okay though. It will end up shooting up soon so that'll make everything all better.

On a brighter note, I ended up gaining plenty on Steem. This was a lovely development. I can't wait til things really come around and we can all earn more and more gains on Steem as more and more people get involved!
