Earning LTC with faucets

in #litecoin7 years ago

So I'm very new to cryptocurrency of course, and while I would dearly love to mine with my computer..... it's just not that good! I've taken, instead, to using faucets to try earn a little bit of coins with mixed results.

I decided the coin I most wanted to earn is Litecoin. There is no good reason for it beyond what I earn for Bitcoin and Doge can easily be converted into a fair bit more Litecoin.

My method is two-prong, and by this I mean I use faucets linked to both Faucethub.io and Coinpot.

  • FAUCETHUB *

You could conceivably earn many different kinds of coins that you could exchange for Litecoin on Faucethub, but in terms of exchange value that I've personally tested I tend to stick with Bitcoin and Doge (but do try out the various cryptocurrencies, there may be a more valuable option I haven't considered).

Faucethub has a link choc full of faucets, but make sure you sign up with them before using them, and link your relevant wallet addresses! Their faucets are linked here: https://faucethub.io/faucets

Once you've earned some Bitcoin, Doge or otherwise, go to their Exchange and Buy/Sell in there. (I've only used that function twice, so I'm not that adept at using it, but it doesn't seem overly complicated)

The only downside to Faucethub is you need a minimum of 0.01 LTC to withdraw. But if you scour the Faucets and exchange your coins for Litecoin I imagine you'll get there pretty quickly.

These are the best (although ads are annoying) paying faucets for LTC into Faucethub I've found so far - a few also have bonuses you can claim:

  • COINPOT *

I was very iffy about using Coinpot at first, I think because it so closely resembled Coinbase which I signed up with only to discover I can't it use in my country! But it turns out Coinpot is really great, as whatever you earn via linked faucets you get paid with immediately (and their minimum for withdrawal is much better than on Faucethub imho).

I've yet to discover a Coinpot faucet list so the pickings are slim.... however, those slim pickings do pool together over time (you can make claims every few minutes, or wait half a day and collect a nice pile of coins).

One of the additional things I quite love about Coinpot is you don't need a minimum amount in order to convert to/exchange Litecoin. Their withdrawal rate is also lower, at 0.002 LTC. They tend to pay out within 24 hours also, as I've received two payments from them so far (with a third on the way).

Once you have reached the minimum in either Coinpot or Faucethub, just withdraw your coins to your Litecoin wallet and within 24-48 hours you'll have your easily-earned coins!
