The Alpha Wolf Series: An Introduction

An Awakening in the Force

About a week ago, I was on some strong weed and was aware of myself becoming very, very present. I was aware of this phenomena because I meditated every now and then, but never got anywhere with meditation. The sense of presence I felt, under the influence was clear and powerful, and distinctly different from anything I had experienced in my mindfulness exercises. I proceeded to document the experience and the difference in my body with Evernote (Shout out to Evernote). What resulted from my insights was a deep, deep mindfulness I brought with me into the days ahead: the clubs I frequented, the interactions I participated it, the work I executed, my performance in the gym, my sleep, and the list could go on and on and on. Which means that this series will be a body of work that will span at least a year.

Raichus not Wolves

I use the metaphor of the sheep and the wolf, because of the strong emotional response it evokes. It implies that there is an inherent disposition to one or the other. To some, they identify with the role of the 'wolf', thinking that they are better than everyone, and a sense of pride is evoked. To others, a sense of anger is evoked as they identify with the role of the 'sheep', or may not see anything wrong with groupthink or common concepts associated with 'sheep-like' behavior, seeing 'alphas' as assholes not to be glorified. Ultimately, this split in demographic is meaningless and an illusion: if you in any way react emotionally to the title of this series and fall into either one of the above categories, you are a 'sheep', and I would love to share all I can to help you reach your potential. The truth is that the difference between a wolf and a sheep is not inherent, but a matter of achieving potential. A better metaphor would be that of Raichus and Pikachus. A lot of you are very likely Pikachus, and I sincerely desire that I can be that Thunder Stone that will bring you to that next level.

Reality Check

We can all be wolves, but my theory is that no matter how many of you may enjoy reading this series, only a small percentage of you will take action in your lives to work on sharpening yourselves. So for those who have yet to be awakened, I hope that you will take what you learn into your day and allow it to transform the way you look at things. And for some of you who will be happy just being entertained, or appreciate the writing, I am thankful to have that ability to make you happy as well.

What to Expect

Even though the metaphor of the Sheep and the Wolves is imperfect, I will continue to refer to it for the entirety of this series because it is more universally understood and easier to grasp than Raichus and Pikachus. Because what I am advocating is a complete worldview shift, being a Wolf has far-reaching implications and I will explore numerous aspects of life with untapped potential for you to unlock. These topics include success with women (for men), attracting the right mate (for women), relationships, leadership, fitness, coping with sleep deprivation, happiness and so, so much more. Expect to see the world as you know it, like never before, with new eyes.

Stay tuned, Wolf Nation!

Sort:

An article that begins with "I was on strong weed" needs to be read twice.

You can read it as many times as you like. Please don't hold back any criticism and let me know how the second time goes hahaha

Interesting. I'll follow your series !
