To deny morality, it may mean first : to deny that the moral motives invoked by men have really pushed them to act as they have done, that is to say, to affirm that morality exists only in words and is part of the gross or subtle deceptions of humanity, and that perhaps especially among the most renowned people, precisely, for their virtue. Then it may mean denying that moral judgments are based on truths.

I therefore deny morality as I deny alchemy: that is, I deny its postulates, but not that there were alchemists who believed in these postulates and acted according to them. I do not deny, therefore, that I am not foolish that we should avoid and fight many actions that are considered immoral, nor that we should encourage and perform many moral actions, but I think we must do one. and the other for other reasons than until now. We have to change the way we judge, in order to finally, and perhaps very late, achieve even better: to change the way we feel.
