Balanced Rock Trailhead Hike (Moab, Utah)

in #life6 years ago

This "hike" was silly easy, And the rock could be seen from a car if you wanted to avoid walking over. But of course, we got out and walked over to see it.
It gave you a slightly uneasy feeling when you approached the rock. Like it would fall over at any second!
The pictures don't do it justice on how big it is! It was HUGE!

See? Little On The Map!

Yeah it seems that it can fall at any second but these massive red rocks are very strong. Enjoy the tracking

Well it looks really huge in the picture!

And I can really imagine the uneasiness seeing that rock up close can cause to a person.

Perhaps one day thanks to erosion that rock will end up falling, but I guess for now its cool to take pics next to it.

You didn't take a picture including a person to see the size with a little bit of perspective?

Aww right?
Eventually it will fall. And that will be sad! I was going to take a photo but I got too camera shy.

That rock doesn't look very safe. Very top heavy

Noooo don't get too close or you may get crushed! XD
Kidding, pretty cool to have a balancing rock, I can't go for any walks atm as I am sick so have to get better. :(

LOLLLLLL Right? It was way cool!!

Awww ;( Get better so you can go walking!!

Aww thanks love :)
Got some medicine now so a few days with that and I will hopefully be good soon! :)

Such a amazing place you hiking in Utah. Naturalize creative of the nature you captured @kaylinart. Hiking wanna good activity for keep better blood pressure. Remarkable view. Just awesome.

Right? Thank You :)

I definitely would have gotten out of the car to see it if I was there. I love that kind of thing. The american west has some amazing scenery

Right? I want to see everything!

I’m sure an extreme sport junkie would love to climb that!

Right? That would be funny, but probably bad if it were to fall.

Yeah, but that won’t stop crazy people from trying!

Oh! I wouldn't dare go close to it! Lol!

It looks like it will fall anytime soon.

Great photo showing us the beauty of nature.

@kaylinart, thanks for visiting my blog.

Right? Its sccary lol

It seems quite tall and looked a bit like clay from afar off you know, however it's seems like quite an experience,
Never seen or went anywhere one of these in a long while.
