Steemfat 3 - part 1: A new beginning (a.k.a here we go again)

in #life7 years ago

The blockchain does not lie and that sucks.

When I wrote a month ago that I was going to start Steemfat 3 a month from the moment I wrote it felt like a very long time.

I can now say. It's not.

It's already here.

I came back from London on Monday and started Steemfat 3 yesterday straight away.

I have some trouble getting started. I can tell you that. (my body is complaining).

For some reason, it's always easier to make promises for in the future than to actually carry them out :)

Oh, and for those who don't know what Steemfat 3 is.

It's my journey, with up and downs, to get in shape.

Sometimes I win and Sometimes I lose.

I knew what was coming after London so in London I indulged. A lot...

I believe that when on holiday you should never have any restriction that gets in the way of (food) fun.

But to give you an idea of what transpired

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I loved it so much.

My body too! It decided to store all of it in my moobs and belly that are now bigger than ever.

So, enough is enough. And a promise is a promise.

I'm getting back on the wagon and I started yesterday.

I wanted to make new progress pictures but decided to wait a week or two because no NSFW tag covers my current state.

The start is always the hardest but I'm motivated.

The gym awaits tomorrow for the first but definitely not the last time this year.

Those dishes are nice.
But exercise is not nice but essential.
Glad you know what need to be done and action is your middle name.
keep on steemit.

There is big myth that says "eating fat makes you fat", it doesn't actually..eating fat makes you fuller sooner hence your stomach feel full most of the time, but eating sugar makes you hungrier sooner... So, to successful start Steemfat 3, you must first give up sugar from your diet. BTW Food pics looks awesome. Today, i also cooked one of my favorite dish in my blog.

I'm not sure. I seem to be able a lot of fatty food before I'm full :). I checked out your post looks great man!

Thanks! Highly appreciated....

And in particular, eating fat earlier in the day seems better for your body.

Yes I agree, you should check out full keto or LCHF. Most of the stuff in those delicious images up there is pure keto, most of the best tasting items anyway. :) So just skip the french fries, rice, pasta and dessert. Eat more fat. At least read up on it, lots of material on the internet.

But as you read, bear in mind to be suspicious of fanatic vegans claiming keto is the worst thing ever. Why? Because they want ALL meat eating to stop. :)

But keto isn't the exact opposite of veganism, it's entirely possible to eat SOME veggies on keto, just not too much of the sweeter ones, like carrots, tomatoes and corn. And it's possible to get by without eating a ton of meat too, I use low-carb protein powder mixed with heavy cream... tastes like dessert. :)
Oh and also check out IF or Intermittent Fasting.

Some things are harder than others. It is about commitment and sacrifice. Magic or change often happens when you say "enough is enough". I believe this time you will make it, since I can feel your burning desire to achieve the goal that you set. Best of luck:).

NSFW :))))
I really hope you find a sustainable way to stay in shape because alternating weight loss with weight gain is not healthy at all for your body.
Looking great feels a lot better than the instant gratification of food, so there is a little hint of where the problem might lie :)

find a sustainable way to stay in shape because alternating weight loss with weight gain is not healthy at all for your body.

I'll try my best, man.

The food looks wonderful and almost irresitable. Who can blame you for enjoying it? Now, the trick is to find greater pleasure in working the pounds and inches off. We both know you have the personal push to get back in shape! Go slow and steady!

As always thank you for the encouragement!

Well... with your cooking skillz I understand how hard is to be in shape. Even if I could do 10% what you can do in the kitchen I would already be as huge as a sumo wrestler.
I feel you man! Be strong! :'((

Congrats on following through. I need to start working on my weight as well, but right now I’m working on quitting cigarettes. Just have to remind myself, one task at a time. Best of luck in your endeavors!

I don't envy you. I quit smoking 6 years ago now. It was tough. You are right one task at the time.

Thanks for chiming in. 6 years, congratulations! Any tips?

I'm the same way when I'm on vacation and especially traveling. No restrictions for fun lol congrats on getting back on the wagon though

Indeed, Health is Wealth

By the way you made my mouth watered with these tasty foods. I had a kidney issue and i remained under the Prevention to many spicy and non-veg food category

I have recovered myself and enjoying all such foods with full joy and fun :P ;)
Exactly in the same way

My body too! It decided to store all of it in my moobs and belly that are now bigger than ever.

By the way you're write up is very unique. First i thought you wrote a Poem this time but then i came to know you shared above than poem haha

Stay Blessed @exyle

I believe in you man! The start is the hardest like everyone says but once you make it a routine and then a lifestyle it will be no effort at all. Aim for long term stability over short term losses!
