Create Your World And Design Your Destiny

in #life7 years ago

If I could walk to you and have a one on one conversation with you, I would ask you only two questions. These questions will go a long way to determine if you are going to be successful or not.

The first question is what are you doing to develop yourself? It is not a selfish question because my fundamental principle of laws teaches me that “you can’t give what you don’t have (Nemo dat quod non habet)”. In everything you want to teach or give, you have to start with yourself. If you are leading others and you have nothing to give them, you won’t be a good leader. This is a huge question for you to today. The moment you understand this, you would create your world and design your destiny.
The second question is what are you doing to develop others? The moment you answer the first question, it is very easy to answer the second. We are expected to give back our experiences, skills and talents to the world. But the truth is that is impossible to do that if we don’t first build ourselves.
I want you to ponder over this two questions and start working towards them depending on the category you find yourself.

Love it.

Self-love is an act of true wisdom - in order to love your life and others you need to accept and fully love yourself first.

Same goes with all the life-teachings.

Great post.

  1. Daily I’m working to improve my skills and develop better into my craft. I create, edit, and constantly work to get better creatively.

  2. I’m creating videos to share the knowledge that I have with others to share in the knowledge I have learned. My goal is to pass on as much as I can to better others in their quest to produce better video content.

You can't give what you don't have

Very true. I think the first question tallies with discovering yourself. And that's where the problem is.

It's easier to say, find your passion and follow it.

It's easier to say, find what you enjoy doing and go for it.

But that's just half if the journey, matter-of-fact, that is just the beginning of it.
