The ego and how we are attached to it

in #life7 years ago

Not everyone knows what an ego is. Most who do, believe it's normal to be a certain way, it's normal to do certain things in this world.
But what if it's not?
What if the people a the top who control almost everything around us just want us to think that, so it's easier for them.
No resistance, no freedom.
Do we really think slavery is over? I do not.

We are the slaves of nowadays. We do and say because they want us to, not even being aware.
They created a system we feel "safe" in, we believe is good and comfortable.
So we don't resist.

Money plays a big role in all of this.

When I was much younger I already thought how wrong somebody can be if they choose money over people, over themselves??
Money makes us do things we wouldn't do if this simple piece of paper wouldn't exist.

We work for it almost everyday of our lives so we can just give it back to where it came from. It's a back and forth of nothing. Paying for things that shouldn't be there in the first place. For things we need as a human being to survive.

It already starts by us going to school at a young age. "You have to go to school, so you can go to University perhaps and get a job"... just like everyone else.
I always thought I'm just lazy not doing homework, skipping classes, etc.. I was never good in school. But what does that mean? That I'm stupid? A definite no. School just makes us think that, when there is so much more in life to be smart about.
So when I look back at it I am glad I was lazy, because without this experience I might have never realised the truth of our education system. I know I can live my life different, live for happiness and love. The most important things that exist within us.

Back to the ego.
Every existing ego on this earth is individual. It's a creation of ourselves, of somebody we only believe we are.
Most of us know we are pure and happy up to the age of four to six, depending.
Up to the point where we can understand others, where we communicate and define.
Being so young we don't know what's right or wrong.
We start judging other people or ourselves. We start to create ourselves.
Perhaps you're the popular one, the smart one or just the loser in the corner.

At that point we attach ourselves to something that isn't real.

What is real is US, our SOUL, our BEING.

LOVE, HAPPINESS, FREEDOM and BLISS is all we are.

But when we attach ourselves to anything else than that, we become this ego, that speaks, overthinks, defines and lives its life not being their true self.

Without attachment there is no pain or loss or fear.

Our breathing is all we are. The breath is our reason to live, it controls our whole body and how it feels.

That's why meditation is very important in our daily lives, if we wanna become free from all that is.

There is one thing about the ego that is great. It makes us question who we are and more delicious the finding of who we really are! To a point where we can laugh about ourselves and the system. Mostly we are prisoners of our own mind, and I support the fact that it's part of the big negative influence some people have with media to control us for their plans. But the ego isnt our enemy, its our biggest teacher and defines who we are when we find out who we are! Because if we would forever be happy and in control, how would we be clear about what our purpose is! :)
