What I Stand For and Why - New Steemit Community Member

Hey Everyone!

This should have been my first post but I was so excited by all the new money being poured into crypto that I wrote about the 100 billion market cap instead. However this post will tell you a bit more about myself and what I stand for.

How I got Started

I started my adventures in Crypto a few years ago back in 2014 and really wish I would have understood it a bit better at the time (don't we all when we look back at things) This is when bitcoin was about $50-$100 a coin OUCH!

At the time to me bitcoin was a reward you received for processing something. To me this was processing videos, graphics and other large projects that people put up on the market to use some of your computer power. I got this from my understanding of Boinc and how you would allow projects to use your processing power to map out DNA, Listen in for radio singnals from outerspace etc. Boy was I a bit wrong!

What I do and why I do it

I started my own business around the same time. Being laid off from my job due to massive layoffs that where happening here in the states and always having that nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I wanted to do more I decided now was my time to go for those dreams.

Since then I run my own blog http://SeanSupplee.com and work in marketing and advertising. I work on my own products and services but also take on a few clients to help them build and achieve their own success through the power of the internet.

Through all of this I was able to meet some pretty amazing people. Such as Marcus Lemonis from the TV show "The profit" here is my picture with him.

I have also had the privilege of visiting many places already here in the USA, on my tripe of Europe and the Bahamas where I caught this sweet king fish in Saint Kitts!

It's been great so far but there is still so much more I want to do in my life. Above all that is helping people and giving them the tools and knowledge to make their own dreams come true. I always wished someone had my back and helped me out a bit along the way, without it I feel its taking me longer to achieve those goals I wanted but also built me into who I am today and why I do what I do.

Why Crypto

I honestly believe that Crypto Currency if the future. I'm not sure if that will be bitcoin, Ethereum, Steam or another currency but I believe this is the future to unite our countries and people as we continue to expand to the stars.

The real ground breaker for me which has me totally devoted to this has been the massive increase from when I bought Ethereum a year ago. With crypto being better understood and more implications of it being used I see more currencies primed and ready to skyrocket.

Well this is a bit about myself and why I am here at steemit. Just finding this place took me a few hours to learn what it was all about but I love the idea and also love the amazing community and support I have already received.
